    Good point guys, that did probably need to be brought up again.
    There seem to be just a lot of people floating in here once or twice then leaving so they never really learn the rule. Or is that just me? (I'm not having a go at anyone here, I'm just pointing out a general observation.)

    Either way, would I be overstepping if I just asked everyone who posted art above and didn't give feedback to either edit your own post fulfilling the requirement or just posting anew with some feedback?

Yeah. It really isn't that hard to just read the rules before you post though.
I think it would be best to make a new post, otherwise it probably won't be seen.

There is also a rule that redlines can't be made without permission from the original artist that it seems a couple of people forgot.

I'm terrible at people so my redline won't be much use XD
But I threw some lineart tips in there as well.

This guys tutorials helped me tremendously with my human drawings, and are definitely much more useful than my redline. I definitely recommend them! There's more than one part. http://youtu.be/4tK8_-dJN2M

Thank you for helping me!

[by the way she is bending fowards I still need to add shadows]

@ Thesongofstars
I agree with Nix, the Body needs to be thicker in order for it to even survive. Always think about all the internal stuff everything has. I also noticed that there are times when you colour out of the lines and sometimes dont go all the way to the lines. Try keeping your colouring a little neater! but great start

@Rune.
I am not that great with drawing humans..and their faces are my all time weakness..but I am just going to point out that the body is way to short! it looks like her arms would reach all the way down to her feet! I believe humans are 7 heads tall?(6-8 been a while since I was taught this)

I have been drawing a lot of superheroes <3 and recently I started drawing nightwing..Could I get some tips or maybe a red line for next time I attempt drawing him.. It is heavily referenced from a picture in one of the Nightwing comics..
Image
My scanner did kill some quality..It is darker and some of the face shading can not be seen from this picture..Also, I learned I cant draw butts..The most trouble I had was actually from his waist down as you can see I didnt do much shading on his legs..

Motivation is such an odd thing.
It's been eluding me for months and months and suddenly I just had to draw and draw a lot.
Like damnit, I need sleep, too.
Here's to hoping that when I wake up, the motivation won't be entirely gone. ;;
Plus I haven't been able to find a way to actually control when it comes and goes, so thats a huge pain.

hmm, from what i can see -
the fingers are a bit too rounded on the edges. make a fist - that first joint ends up being more square. :)
i dunno how to explain it, so ill redline this part:
Image
the way his hair and neck look when put together make that part look flat - theres a joint right there, and it should be a bit more prominent

other than those two minor things, i think the actual anatomy and scale is very good! (his butt is perfect :D)

anyway, i finished my first commission. 4 hours of me staring at a screen, no breaks... haha. what do you guys think?

edit: oh gosh, i went digging through my old DA and found something thats 4 years old. how far we've come!

hiya guys, thank you for the replies on my last artwork that i posted a while ago!

@rune. i cant redline right now but the hair to the right of her head is looking too thick, as in it looks like a big bushel rather than separated natural hair. im not sure what to say about the eyes other than they arent very visible, and the eyebrows should be a bit thicker and match the hair color (unless you were going for them being a bit mismatched)

@stonefly im not sure what to tell you that hasnt already been said, as patrick mentioned the neck needs some adjusting

@patrick its really great overall! the only things i could say might need some improvement is the bell (?) hanging around its neck and the fact that it lacks shading (but thats quite a nitpicky thing), and the highlight on the hair seems a tiny bit too bright :-D

id like to get some opinions on this christmas card that i drew for my friend if thats alright! (i realise that the one on the right looks a bit flat colored)

whoops, totally forgot about the bell. tbh i forgot to add it for most of the drawing and did it at the very end and my brain was so fried ;w; thanks for pointing that out! glad i havent sent it to the customer yet haha. the highlight is supposed to be bright since its pretty much directly in the sun c: i also just realized i totally forgot to blur the shading on the ears!

the only thing that bugs me about the card is their bodies, they seem a bit too thin to me.
