{{ I like the idea of the Ra'zac returning...it would be a good front for something else (which we don't necessarily have to think of right away), and an excuse to prolong the plot. I don't really like role-plays that advance way too fast, and leave the characters struggling to keep up. }}
Ren Teod//Gil'ead//being ornery
It's not working, Ren said, exchanging glances with Ailla. And what did I do to deserve that glare?
You were a rude, chauvinistic pig who expected a majestic woman like the director of the academy to just fall at your any command, Ailla snorted, her ruby eyes shining in the early light. If you are really interested in gaining troops, you will be kinder. If you're here for something else...
You know why I'm here! Nothing of the sort even occurred to me. And I wasn't being rude, just forward.
I am within your thoughts, remember?
Ren turned away from Ailla, annoyed. Though he loved his dragon, they definitely got on each others nerves from time to time. "It can't be easy to advance training when you only have one instructor. You may be a good teacher, but no one can instruct in magic, flight, and battle technique all at once at a reasonable pace, not unless you're working one on one. I am here to offer my services as temporary defensive strategy instructor to your older students, just for a little while. You'd be amazed at how quickly their education would advance." Ren had loved any sort of physical education while he was in school, and felt that a good workout always helped him stay focused on more important things.
