What factors influence you when you're trying to decide what the name or gender of a character will be?
For the gender, its mostly the first impression. When I think something like "Oh, he is cute" it will most likely be a male. For the name... well this is often kind of hard for me. Sure there are names comming to my mind immediatly, but I rarely like them enough to go for them. So I start searching for names (what might take months), or ask others for suggestions.


I just got this amazing rabbit character from an advent calender:

I guess it will be a male, and he will need a name^^
I thought about something like "Little Light" or "Ancient Flame". But Im not that happy with the names... Any suggestions? Some magical, mystical, fire thing would be nice... Or whatever you think would fit^^
