Justin nodded and smiled. "Ok!" He ran back to his house. "See you soon!" He yelled over his shoulder to Travis.

Cass grinned at Rin. "Oh! I don't live in the city hun! I'm a marked too! Watch!" She placed her hands on either side of Tancered's head on his temples and sang softly easing out the tiredness and causing the bags under his eyes to disappear. "Sorry. I kind of forced that onto you. I can also give it back though if you'd like?" She turned to Rin. "I'm a healer, but if you'd still rather go back then go ahead." She went back to making her cake.

Justin reached his house after a few minutes and briefly explained the situation to his mother. She made him promise to call everynight and then squeezed him tight. He backed his things, kept his bow and arrows with him, grabbed the picture by his bead, and left. He planted a kiss on his mom's cheek. "I'll come visit!" He grinned a ran back towards Travis, Lady, and the new life before him. (I just realized this would be a perfect ending to a book! especially a series book!! Lol)

Cass brought out a big chocolate cake and a big vanilla one. "I wasn't sure which one you'd rather have?" She blushed lightly for the first time since meeting Tancered. Now that they were alone, and in her house, she felt shy.

The fourteen year old stared at them with wide eyes,"what is that?" He asked awed by the cake. His eyes showed with curiousness. He was still standing though.

Justin smiled and pulled up the right side of his shirt to show the big, pulsing tree. "It means that's I'm connected to all life. "Like right now," he blinked causing his green eyes to become brighter in appearance and the world around him to appear brighter to himself, "I can feel your pulse, my pulse, Lady's pulse, and the pulse of everyone of those sheep of yours. I can also feel the life that flows through the trees and can manipulate them." He concentrated on a low hanging branch and manipulated the energy to make it bend up and out of the way. "What about you? What's your mark?"

Cass grinned and offered him a fork. "It's a sweet, delicious treat! Take a bite!" She still was feeling a little shy. She set them on the coffee table in front if him. "I personally like vanilla better, but chocolate isn't bad." She smiled with a shrug and took a bite of the vanilla cake. A small, delighted sigh escaped from her lips. "Yum." Her face lit up.
