Optimus literally translates into "best." After years of selective breeding, a few mutations, and minor isolation, a pride of lions has emerged out of a mountain range in North America. They have adapted to eat anything available, similar to that of their black bear neighbors. They come in nearly every natural coat color and pattern, along with some bright color accents and a vast variety of mane styles. Females have also developed the gene for manes, but they never have the full out mane of the typical male lion. Strangely, each lion has a floating companion. Some people believe these creatures act as a sort of conscious. These companions take the shape of sea animals, and the swim through the air following the lion they accompany. These companions are also always monochromatic in color.

Favorite Animal and Why (10 sentences max.); Vulpes' favorite animal is the zebra, because nobody truly knows if it is white with black markings, or black with white markings, which he loves to ask everybody in sight. He also admires it's speed and likeness to the tamed equine. Vulpes may not admit it, but he also likes the taste of zebra.

Favorite Animal and Why (10 sentences max.); I would say my favorite animal was the Labrador retriever. I grew up with one. The first dog my parents ever got was a lab, and he was their baby until I was born. I replaced him, but he was an old man. In 2011 we were able to buy another lab, a puppy, before we had to put down Einstein. Ferrous is now my personal baby blanket. I used to have nightmares so horrible, I couldn't sleep alone. Now that we have Ferrous, and that he sleeps with me, I don't have them anymore, and when they do come, they are not as bad as it used to be. As I type this, Ferrous is sleeping, his head rested onto my back, loud snores come out of his mouth, and i'm starting to become annoyed. Oh well, he is women's best friend...right?


EDIT: I didn't read all the way through, everytime I say my, I mean his. . . . LOL. Oops.
