They have adapted to eat anything available, similar to that of their black bear neighbors. They come in nearly every natural coat color and pattern, along with some bright color accents and a vast variety of mane styles. Females have also developed the gene for manes, but they never have the full out mane of the typical male lion. Strangely, each lion has a floating companion. Some people believe these creatures act as a sort of conscious. These companions take the shape of sea animals, and the swim through the air following the lion they accompany. These companions are also always monochromatic in color.
