I would present myself in an honest way and model what Im willing to share in the relationship so that the little baby knows its okay to say "I don't know if I can share". I would also show that I personally care and want to take the time to get to know them!

id offer them one of those shiny chocolate coins. the ones that would
otherwise melt and stick in the pocket of my jean. not only are they
shiny and pretty with a protective casing over top of them so that they
would be able to play with it for awhile. it has the sweet chocolate
centre to help them warm up to me.
