Sandcloud started grooming Breezekit's head, smoothing down the kit's downy fur.

The tiny tom mewled loudly in protest, his broad head swinging around as he tried to scramble
away from his mother. His black and white fur was fluffed up, tiny claws making clink noises
against the rocky part of the nursery floor.

Sandcloud, letting out a rusty purr, drew him closer, continuing to groom his pelt despite his protests. Once she had finished, she let him scramble away, watching with amusement glimmering in her eyes.

The small tom scrambled over her paws, closed ears shifting as if he could hear what was
happening around him. He glared around with closed eyes, then let out a loud squeak of
astonishment as though he was trapped.

F O X T U F T

Foxtuft chuckled as he dropped the plump gray bird at Sandcloud's paws before swiftly picking
the kit up by the scruff and dropping him gently beside his mother's warm belly.

Softcloud, who hadn't eaten since she gave birth, tore into the plump pigeon, losing all sense of gracefullness. She looked like a savage beast as she devoured the gray bird.

I walked towards the fresh kill pile then picked out the smallest shrew and gobbled it down. I looked around at my clanmates and headed towards the nursery. Hi there Sandcloud! I said with a smile.

Sandcloud continued eating ravenously, not even noticing the apprentice's presence. Small scraps of flesh were flung here and there from her aggressive eating.

I stopped and stared for a bit then laughed. Well I guess i'll come back later I said with delight.

The she-cat groaned in frustration, her tail waving slowly in anger. She hadn't trained in days,
and she was tired of just strolling around on patrols. There were no threats among the border
ever! Her silver eyes glinted with frustration, and she sighed heavily.

Sandcloud finished the last bite of her fresh kill, then she began to realize how messy she had been. She looked up at Foxtuft sheepishly, "Eheh... Oops?"
