Quinn Edan ● 17 ● Cyclone ● Male
- Last Night -
Quinn sat atop a tall building with his legs hanging off the edge. He smiled, kicking his legs gently, enjoying the view. A flash brought his gaze upwards, and he turned his masked face towards the light. Staring at the storm cloud blackened sky he smiled, creating creases in his mask. Quinn did not believe that he had summoned this storm, but he decided he may as well play with it. He raised his left arm and bent his elbow so his hand was level with his face, and he started making small circles with his index finger. He increased the speed of the circles and soon enough, the wind picked up and the sky flashed and rumbled. Satisfied he pushed off the building and let himself fall. After a brief drop he let the winds pick him up and Quinn gently soared through the night sky. Drifting along smoothly, he sped up and soon he was zooming through New York. Quinn spotted his apartment building, and he circled it until he found his open bedroom window. When he was inside his room he turned around and threw out his arms. At his command the rain started pounding down, lighting flashed, the winds screeched and the thunder rumbled. "Beautiful" he mumbled, before striping off his costume, leaving him in his boxers. Quinn folded his costume and placed it under his bed, hiding it. Quinn snuggled under his covers and turned his back to the window. Just before closing his eyes, he clicked his fingers. Light flashed in his room, and satisfied, Quinn drifted off to sleep.

"Too early..." Quinn mumbled, alas his alarm clock did not stop and kept persistently ringing. He reached out and slapped the alarm clock so that it stopped ringing. "Quinn" chirped an all too familiar and happy voice, "get out of bed sweetie! Time to head to school" his mother chirped, tapping Quinn's door. "Nooo" Quinn whimpered, pulling the covers over his head. "darling" his mother chirped, knocking harder on the door. Quinn responded with a grunt. "Get your butt out of bed" his mother yelled. The sudden outburst shock Quinn into action and five minutes later, he was eating breakfast out in the kitchen. His mother who was sitting across from him looked him up and down carefully, "daring" she said. Quinn riased his head from his cereal carefully, "yes" he said, milk dripping from his chin. "Where are you glasses" she asked him, "I, um, I'm wearing contacts" he rushed out, In actual fact after being struck by the lightning bolt that had given him his powers, he also lost his need for his glasses. After rinsing his bowl, Quinn grabbed his backpack, and giving his mother a quick peck on the cheek, he rushed out of the door. "bye sweetie, have a good day" she chirped after her son, before closing the door and retreating back into her apartment.
Walking down the street in the pouring rain, Quinn opened his blue umbrella, smiling at the storm he strengthened. Quinn then saw a familiar figure ahead of him, and jogged to catch up to them. "Thaia!" he shouted, getting the blonde's attention. He smiled as her face lit up and the exchanged hugs and high fives. "Quite the storm last night aye?" he said smirking,
Althaia Hilton ● 17 ● Black Bird ● Female
- Last Night -
Althaia was perched atop a light post in down town New York. Her black wings arched over her head, the silver claw glinting. Her 10 other claws bit into the metal of the street lamp and her monkey like tail was wrapped around the pole, the long feathers on the end hanging in the pool of yellowy light produced by the lamp. Thaia's crimson eyes glowed in the darkness menacingly, making her look like a villain. She looked up at the gathering storm with a frown on her face. Althaia had always loved storms and would spend hours watching them. Nowadays she would still watch thre storms, but from a good distance back from the window, just in case. She had wondered where her claws came from and from reading through her late 'uncle' Andrew's notes, discovered that they're formed from a type of metal. This metal was deposited inside her bones when she had the drink that uncle Andrew would give to her, she also read that it changed her DNA. The metal inside of her also attracted lightning, which out in a storm was a bit of a problem, that's why she was perched on the lamp post. The tall buildings above her provided some protection, but not much. "Stupid storm" she muttered, and pushed off the pole. Spreading her large black wings, she soared through the sky, making quick turns around buildings. Though lightning was now a nuisance to her, she still does love stroms, and as she flew past, she watched the clouds and lightning. Spotting her apartment building, Thaia tucked in her wings and dove through the open window. Landing on her bed, Althaia proceeded to close her window as the rain started pouring down. Althaia took off her costume, and slipped on her pyjamas. Putting her costume in its box, she kicked it under the bed and jumped onto her bed. Althaia let her claws, fangs and wings slide in, as she did the familiar burning sensation hit her. It started off as a warmth in her body, but quickly became uncomfortably hot. Gritting her teeth, the heat disapeared as did her claws, fangs and wings. Althaia then crawled under the covers of her king sized bed. Wrapping her tail around her leg, she fell asleep, while the storm raged around her.
- Next Morning -
Thaia smiled at Quinn, giving him a hug and high five. She had been woken up by the family butler Ferdinand this morning and as always, put her green contacts in straight away. After her first transformation, her eyes had turned permantly red. Quinn and Althaia walked to school every morning, and a storm wouldn't change that, but it made Thaia nervous. With her Hilton Corp umbrella she had been taking their usual route to school, when Quinn had caught up to her, he was late today. The two had lived in apartment buildings that were somewhat close to each other, but Thaia's was far more upperclass. The Hiltons lived in the penthouse house of their building and the two floors below it, while Quinn had a two bedroom apartment. "It was pretty strong" Althaia answered Quinn's storm comment. She could see the excitement on his face. He had always loved storms and she knew working at the weather station was his dream come true. The rain around them started to grow stronger and the two sprinted the last few blocks to the school. Arriving in school they walked around, looking for their friends, talking about the storm.

Kai and the rest of the football team jogged inside to escape the downpour. It had been raining all through the morning, but had suddenly worsened. He and the rest of his team, showered and dressed in the boys locker room. After he was clean he jogged into school, he immediatlyn spotted his friends and walked over to them. "Rich girl, storm boy"' he said smirking. Althaia and Quinn turned towards him, smiling, "hot head" answered Thaia, giving him a hug. The group fell into a casual conversation, but were interrupted when the school's doors were blasted open and rain poured in. "Book end!" Kai called to their other friend Amy, who had run inside, her bag over her head. Amy smiled at the group and walked over.
