Image/Description: Not extremly, but fluffy with soft lime green eyes, black fur with a white lock and a half white spot on her chin. She is also quite tall and lean.
Name: Condorcloud
Gender: Female/She~cat
Clan: I will put her in one evantually, hopefully in the mountians so her name will make more sence.
Rank: Warrior currently
Personality/Skills: For Condorcloud's personality, she is a very quiet, secretive, mellow, and soft. She doens't really like talking, yet she is very kind and caring.

For her skills, she doesn't really have anything to put in there, but she does enjoy hunting, but normally fails with unsheating her claws, pouncing, silence (suprisingly), and lots of other's. But don't worry, she isan't that clumsy.
Important Notes: Nothing I dont beleive I have to enter here..?
im quitting this game, i dont even enjoy it anymore, but i really did while it lasted!

Condor- is a first here!

Name Type: Semi-traditional
Name Reasoning: The interesting thing is that her name fits her perfectly - she's a black cat with small amounts of white (which is what I imagine Condor- would entail), and she's a very calm and quiet cat. However, location-wise, her name wouldn't fit into traditionalism. There are two species of condor, and neither of them live in Europe, which is where traditionalism is based out of.
Alternate Name: Starlingcloud/Rookcloud. Both prefixes are birds that are black with some white, and her suffix stays as it is.
Alternate Suggestion: Put her somewhere either in California or in the Andean mountains. Her name would fit her perfectly otherwise.

Character Assessment: I mean, honestly, I don't think there's anything to complain about here. I guess the only thing is, as always, that more development is useful, but otherwise there's no real issue here.
Character Suggestions: Like I said, just some extra tidbits of personality could help, such as phobias or work ethics, whether she's above sneaking around to avoid work or not, her beliefs, etc.

Thank you. I think I'll go with Rookcloud. But I'm suprised -Condor has not been interviewed here, huh. My dad showed me these Condor's once, when I was little, of course, and then, since the traditional name guide was password-protected, I had to find a different one, so of course, I found one with -Condor, and by the way the person has described the texture of fur, I knew right away it looked almost exactly perfect to suit. Condors are awesome. I adore their wings in particular. It's a real shame that it's not traditional; it has such potential as a name.

Name: Shadepaw
Gender: tom
Clan: Mountainclan(fan clan)
Rank: warrior apprentice
Personality/Skills: Shadepaw is a very lively young cat. He's very friendly and often goofy. Though somewhat small for his age, he is very strong. His size makes him quick and agile, and his coloring makes him very adept at sneaking up on someone as long as he stays in the shadows. He's a bit of a prankster, and likes to play tricks on his best friend, the medicine cat apprentice Moonpaw. The whole clan loves him, and most are quite amused by him.
Important Notes:Could you suggest a suffix for his full warrior name? I'm having trouble thinking of one, and would greatly appreciate any help.

Also, I apologize for any typos, it's kind of hard to type with a cloth wrapped around your hand.(stupid rash)

A rash that requires a head-wrap is no joke. Feel better soon, man, and don't worry about legibility (I don't see any significant typos).

Name Suggestion: Shadetail.
Name Reasoning: With the addition of quickness, I would normally suggest -foot as well, but the rest of his description leans more towards an agile cat (skilled at sneaking, prankster attitude - -tail cats are usually adventurous and fun-loving).

Character Assessment: I can't see much wrong here! He's got a good personality and he seems to have enough awareness that his pranks and such aren't harmful or annoying (though there will be at least one cat who can't stand him, I guarantee - there's always a Mr. Wilson to a Dennis the Menace).
Character Suggestions: Perhaps do a little more fleshing out - for example, what will get him in a bad mood and why, if he has any ambitions or is aware that his immaturity won't get him too far in the long run, if he has some insecurity that people just see him as a joke and feels conflicted over whether to at serious or just keep being the Clan clown. So on and so forth.

Thanks! I still have a lot of time to fully flesh him out, seeing as I only have one chapter.(I had three, but the computer I was using was having problems so my dad had to wipe it :x ) I'll definitely think on it.

Hi Arcaii! I am improving my fic and since your 'Let's Read: The Warriors Series' made me aware of the cat's nocturnality, I want you to take a peek at a Clan-activity schedule I made. I'll be adding in new traditions and ceremonies as well, I want to know what you think of them.

The Moonwatcher/Stargazer: Older kits and apprentices volunteer to take up this side-rank. They are compelled to listen to Clan folklore and history from the elders, and count the days. When the previous Moonwatcher passes away or no longer want to be in the position, the younger one takes over. Moonwatchers educate kittens, entertain cats with legends and myths, and remind the leader to apprentice kits when they're six months old. Besides that they are very regular warriors. Moonwatchers are required to have a good memory, and are treated with respect. A Moonwatcher may advise cats who want to hear their opinions.

The Mentor: My fic is set about a decade after the Dark Forest was defeated. They leaders have grown anxious and decided to choose mentors more carefully, not experience-wise, but personality-wise. They wouldn't assign a molly who hates kits to a shy, runty tom or something. They try to match the cats up, and justify their choice during the ceremony. Ex.

'Your mentor will be Patchflower. She shares your energy and enthusiasm, and I belive she will develop your talent for balance well,' says the leader to a kit who has shown great tree-climbing potential, and who can't wait to go outside.

The 'May We Remember This For Moons To Come' Ceremony: Basically, the antagonists are caught, and are waiting for a special 'trial' Gathering, with all four Clans participating. A leader gives his elderly medicine cat the honor of creating a new ceremony. It goes along the lines of:

'Today we learned that - (teamwork, courage, loyalty, helps us to something, ect.). These cats/This cat, - of -Clan did/discovered/something. We honor their - (faith, determination, ect.) and may we share their - (synonym of trait named earlier). Let us/May we remember him/ her/ them for Moons to come.'

Now, the shedule.

Dawn/Morning-Sunhigh: I think each Clan has at least one early bird. It's their job to wake the Clan. Activity is limited, a patrol is sent out, and a hunting party may depart. That night's camp sentries go to sleep. Most cats groom and chat and eat in camp. Apprentices may practice stalking or fighting outside camp if they whish, but mostly hang out inside it. The medicine cat goes out for herbs.

Sunhigh-Dusk: The first patrol returns and another one sets out. Up to three hunting parties may be sent in between the listed times. Sharing tongues is practiced in camp. Apprentices will be given chores and some moves to practice.

Dusk-Early Into the Night: Apprentices will train at dusk or before dusk. They have energy for that because they rested for most of the day, with the exception of some practice and chores. Two patrols are sent out, expected to cover the whole territory and mark all borders. Kits are especially active and playful, having slep for most of the day, just like elders who only sunned themselves at sunhigh or late morning. Warriors go out to practice battle techniques if they feel rusty, or climb trees, for that matter. Cats may try to hunt individually, and a last hunting party may be sent out.

Warriors will take catnaps in between late morning and dusk.

What do you think? Is the shedule mildly accurate? I did't really research, but I'm assuming this is how it would go, since cats frequently sleep during daytime. What about the ceremonies? What do you think?

image ;; Image
name ;; oceanberry
gender ;; shecat
rank ;; med. cat
personality ;; is quite the medicine cat. she is often shamed for her flirtatious attitude but is usually a sophisticated lady. she does an amazing job at being a medicine cat, knowing the use to every little herb. when she isn't in her den helping other cats, she will be out in the forest, rummaging for herbs or hunting. oceanberry loves the ocean and water, as well as nature in general. she knows a surprisingly large amount of things aside from medicine. she also understands the fundamentals of hunting, but truthfully isn't the best at it. the female is thirty moons old with a full black coat, except a small tuft of white on her chest. she has long whiskers and large yellow eyes. most others will say she is a fine looking cat, but she would rather have a speckled coat or something with multiple colors that she can adore herself. she was originally a kit, born into the clan with a mother, who was the medicine cat herself. instead of family time, her and her mother used the time to get up on medicines and her mother often allowed little oceankit to help out around the den. unfortunately, the eldest fighter did not like this and ended up getting her poor mother expelled from the clan and eventually killed from starvation. oceanpaw then stepped up to become the medicine cat apprentice. now the actual medicine cat was an inexperienced ex-loner. once again, the medicine cat got killed and oceanpaw finally became medicine cat. moons later, she now hold the title of oceanberry and is proud to be where she is. she has always shown a slight interest in crowpaw.

ocean means a skilled swimmer
berry means an exceptionally skilled medicine cat

I hate it when writing/art gets wiped out because of the stupid computer. Good luck on rewriting it, though!

Don't worry about the length. I am the queen of running my mouth for hours. Long posts are my jam.

I recommend that you read up about cats some, because there's a lot of things Erin Hunter gets wrong about them - for example, they can't taste sweetness, or see the color red, and some toms will actually kill kits that don't belong to them. Granted, if Warriors was written realistically, it would not be a children's series, but still.

Given the ranking of Moonwatcher, I would think that the Clan is like Athens - intellectual and lore-driven. This rank does seem to take away some of the pressure of being a leader or medicine cat, and you do say that it's a side-rank, so I don't have a problem with it. I do suggest that you change the name - ranks aren't two works like names are. Perhaps raconteur or fabler, or sommat. This rank doesn't exactly watch the moon or stars.

I should note here that the mentor business isn't a necessary addition - a leader in any Clan has the job of assigning mentors to apprentices who are compatible, personality-wise. That actually has a lot to do with the leader's reputation, if you think about it - if Blackstar keeps assigning headstrong apprentices to doormat warriors, that's going to reflect on him (especially with the implication that he doesn't interact with his Clan enough to understand what's best for them) and, in the long run, have a negative effect on the Clan's ability to take care of itself. But Sootstar always makes good match-ups, the opposite will happen to her.

Good mentor/apprentice pairs are an extremely important part of the Clan, because the relationship ostensibly symbolizes the harmony and unity of the Clan. If a mentor doesn't get along well with their apprentice, then they need to change the apprentice if they can.

The ceremony doesn't seem entirely necessary either, but with the addition of the storyteller above, I can imagine that important events would be a big deal, and be recorded in a spectacular fashion, so go ahead and keep it.

I think the schedule is just fine, as long as the vast majority of their activity is at night. This would technically make the cats diurnal (meaning that they're active during all parts of the day), but in the wild, it's probably good to sleep light.
