Rose could still feel tears trickling down her face and looked away so that he wouldn't notice. At the mention of her mother, she laughed softly wiping her tears. "Yeah she's the same as ever." Just then Jackie walked in and towards them. "You! Oh no you don't. Don't you dare come back into my Roses life after what happened the last time." She Yelled not caring that it was a library. Rose quickly turned and silenced her. "Mum stop it." She said.

"Oi! It's not my fault! At least I tried to save her! I killed a solar system to say goodbye!" I said, miffed she would blame this on me.

Jackie looked at him not really understanding what he said. Rose looked down slightly peeved at her mother's attitude. "Aren't u ment to be looking after Tony?" She mumbled. Jackie looked at Rose and then at the Doctor with a scowl before storming off. Rose sighed nd ran a hand through her hair. "Sorry guess she still doesn't like you." She commented my remembering he slap Jackie had given him upon their first meeting. The thought of it brought a small grin on her face.

"Yeah....well, I don't think she ever did," he said with a grin. "How's Tony?" He asked.

Rose looked up at him. "Almost 4 and a total pain. But then all boys are." She smiled with a light laugh. Now she was a few years older than when she last saw the Doctor, Rose had often thought about maybe wanting kids of her own but there never really was anyone shed cared about more than the Doctor and even that would probably be impossible. It didn't matter she was in no hurry although her mother did have a go at her every so often about how she and Mickey may have been married by now if she hadn't met the Doctor.

He pretended to look hurt by her comment. "I'm a total pain?" He asked in mock-sadness. But, he couldn't keep it up much longer, and soon he started to grin.

Rose smirked. "Have you seen you?" She joked but then smiled. "I don't know what it's like on Galifrey bit here on Earth all guys are a pain." She added with a laugh.
