" a jungle? That doesn't seem right at all..it doesn't make sense. " Austin shook his head." My name is Austin, nice to meet ya."

"If it's not a jungle then what or where are we huh?" Carly asked, one hand on her hip. She used the other to poke him questioningly.

Cyrus watched the new arrivals from the shadows of a distant tree. It was always interesting, observing how people reacted, seeing this place for the first time. "They look pretty lost, Gaomon," he said to his partner. Why don't we go over and introduce ourselves?"

" i dunno..but jungles dont have pink vines." He picked up the pink vine and showed it to her." This isn't Normal ..."

Gaomon looked at Cyrus. Of crouse he would agree with him no matter what." Of crouse. They seem to be confused."

"You're right," Cyrus said to the older boy, stepping out of the shadows. "This isn't normal." He spread his arms wide in an inviting gesture and smiled. "Welcome to the Digital World."

Carly startled and her hand went to her pocket, trying to find a weapon. All she going was some strange device. "What's this?..."

Cyrus was intrigued. He'd never met someone else with a digivice before, they usually came empty handed. It was also interesting that this girl's digivice looked different from his own. "I've never seen one that looks like that before," he said, " But I think that's a digivice. So I guess that means you're one of the digidestined." He had known that others like him would eventually show up, the other digimon had told him as much.

"A Digi-Destined? What is that? What do they do?" Carly asked curiously. "And what's that thing beside you?" She asked pointing at Gaomon.

"To be honest, I don't actually know," Cyrus said, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "The ones I've asked have been kinda vague about it, but I think it just memeans we're here for a reason. Oh, and this is Gaomon. He's my digimon partner, all digidestined are supposed to have one. I'm sure you'll meet yours soon enough. Say hello, Gaomon."

Carly smiled and waved a little. "Well my name is Carly. Nice to meet you."
