"Hey." Spiderheart butted Snowfoot in the shoulder with his head. "How are you holding up? Are you cold?"

Snowfoot replied calmly " no.. maybe... yes" and smiled at Spiderheart

Spiderheart smiled gently in return. "Let's see if we can find someplace warmer," he suggested, and clawed his way up a tree in search of a hollow or something that would provide warmth.

Beechpaw stopped right behind Clifftail. She didn't say a word. She just stood there in silence and waited to see if the tom would notice they were there.

Clifftail turned around to glare at them, back to his grumpy self. "What do you two want?" he asked exasperatedly.

[Cradily]

"What do you mean, what do we want?" Beechpaw asked with a tilt of her head. "What do you want?"

Mapleshadow glanced back at Ripplestripe and then turned her gaze back towards the vast expanse of water. "I suppose." She replied, her voice void of emotion. She let out a sigh and cast her eyes to the grass of the hill beneath her paws. "It's just strange seeing our home underwater. Even after it dries out, I doubt things will go back to how they were." Mapleshadow said, her voice sounding tired.

"Ish this mousth-brained wahter." Cornfur said through a mouthful of fur. He stopped licking his pelt and let out an overly dramatic sigh. "My fur used to be gold and now it's mud brown. I hope to Starclan that Tidestar doesn't make us go swimming through the forest again, or else I'm gonna be as brown as a fox."

Ripplestripe nodded in understanding. "Perhaps not," he spoke calmly. "But we'll make it through." He knew his words weren't very encouraging, but there wasn't much else to say, and so all he could do was lay the tip of his tail on Mapleshadow's back as a sign of comfort.
