Meh, sofas are really cool and everything but personally I can't really be bothered much with items other than the plushies (as they're cute) and the Easter and animal eggs.
I hope there are more pet releases though, I'm more intent on finishing my pet collection than collecting items o,o

What do you mean? None of those items are smaller. The chair is a bit off to the side so it's a bit cut off, but otherwise everything is the same size.

The item size changes depending on the pet you put it on. It works only on some species, though.
