Your plume wakes up in a room with no doors, windows, or any other means of escape. However, high above them is a plume-sized hole with visible sky. Hato speaks many. He's an international astronomer, so he's slightly fluent in as many languages as he hears. Only basics though, and he's a bit bad at those too.

Hato would be at complete ease, he wouldn't really try to escape. He's plant the vine seed, let it grown(maybe pray it was a magic beanstalk??) and just.., be happy? XD

Hato would. Absolutely. His voice is rather extravagant, but he doesn't sing at all unless he's absolutely alone.

they put the seed in the pot. the seed is actually a magic bean stalk seed. eat the granola bars while they wait. it grows through the roof and they use iit to climb out. obvi.
