Ludwig placed the pan on top of the stove as the oven started beeping. Good everything was set once Feliciano finished mixing. He picked up the Pam, spraying the pan since I'm not sure what actual professionals do so that the cakes and such do not stick. He hesitated and turned to the brunet hard at work besides him. "I just wanted to say, thank you for baking with me... I'm usually alone or with dead people." He smiled a little bit.

Surprised at the sudden admission of thanks, Feliciano looked up. "What? Of course! This is so much fun!" Smiling brightly, he passed the rest of the work back over to Ludwig to finish up. "We can bake whenever you want!" He said cheerily, jumping up to sit on the counter—an unused part, of course, he didn't want to mess anything up. "As much as it takes before you get sick of me." He swung his legs gently, not too fast, careful not to hit the cabinets. "We can also do other things, though, obviously." He smiled, thinking of the itinerary again. "People would be lucky to hang out with you. You're fun, and you make yummy food. Well, I haven't had it yet, technically, but it looks really good." Time was passing annoyingly quickly today, probably because he was having fun. Cliche, but true.

So much fun? Really... I feel like I'm forcing you to.. A thought popped in Ludwig's head as the shorter of the two smiled brightly up at him. His eyes followed his movements carefully as he climbed the counter, the German himself taking the stirred mix and pouring it into the pan. Concern lacked across his face as Feliciano moved across the subject, closing the oven door as softly as he could (because when they banged shut it was too nosy). He moved over to the opposite side, leaning against the island to face the other. "Wait, Feliciano," he said at last, "why do you keep thinking I'm going to get sick of you? Obviously, I believe, I'm quite I won't." Ludwig said, no signs of a rosy color illuminating on his cheeks, no not this time. This was a serious subject, he wanted to get his point across, directly across to Feliciano sitting on the counter before him. "Honestly, I haven't met anyone like you, and I don't think I ever will again." That sounded sappy as hell. Isn't making friends and keeping them suppose to be easier? Now some color was coming to his face.

"Oh, I don't know. I don't like to put people off, I guess. Like I said, I have a pretty strong personality." He hummed, thinking of how to explain it better. "If I were to offer someone on the street a free flower, they'd probably accept, but it's possible that they think I'm too forward. Either kind of person wouldn't appreciate me appearing at their door with another flower." He laughed a little, shaking his head. "That's a stupid analogy, but do you kind of see where I'm going?" He'd probably have to simplify it, he was being too flowery with his words again. "I'm always here to listen and to care for people, but not many people care to reciprocate, I'm pretty emotionally high-maintenence. And I'm always open—I don't hold anything back, though I probably should."

Flushing a little, Feliciano looked at his toes. "That's nice of you to say, though. I'm glad. I like making people happy, and you are very nice." Still refusing eye contact, he continued. "I just like to give people an escape route, that's all. I can be a part-time friend to people here, but I haven't had a real friend yet. And on the other side of the spectrum, like I mentioned, people sometimes think I'm cute and want to have a relationship—" He made wild finger-quotes in the air "—but they don't want the emotion part. And I'm not just gonna, well, you know. I'd get emotionally invested, neither party would get what they want. I don't know, I like people. Some of them are just—well, it's not fair of me to say jerks, it's their life, I suppose they can do what they want." Feliciano wasn't one to talk too poorly of people, no matter how they treated him. It was a definite character flaw of his, but he was, ultimately, always full of hope.

Ludwig could only offer a nod as the other talked. He wasn't exactly sure how to react, but felt closer to Feliciano. He had a feeling that even though he was open, that Feliciano didn't express these things often. The bigger male wasn't the best at emotional problems, although he wasn't the type to judge nor be rude when it came to other people's problems like his. He craned his head to meet Feliciano's eyes that remained averted. "Feliciano, I'm sorry that you haven't had any real friends. That's horrible, and I understand. Even though I'm not good with emotions or uh being open, but if you need help or anything, even on an emotional level, I'll try my hardest to help you. Don't you even think of saying you're going to burden me or whatever, Feli, I want to help you. I rather be an honest friend then just be in an relationship because you're cute."

Ludwig leaned forward and extended his hands to the Italian across the aisle. "I have something to do while it bakes. I think you may like it..." It was the perfect time. More bonding for the two of them was a good idea.

Looking incredulous at the other man's words, Feli lunged right past the outstretched hands and threw his arms around Ludwig's neck instead. A hug of thanks seemed more appropriate than anything else his incoherent mind could think of at the moment. Dropping his head to rest on the German man's shoulder for a minute, he mumbled a "Thank you" before pulling back and taking the other's hands to jump down. "See, you're so nice. You should've woken me up even earlier." He joked, wiping his eyes a little and smiling back. Feli nodded eagerly at Lud's suggestion, though. "Okay, what is that?"

First hit the breeze, then came the impact of Feliciano. Ludwig, being an anti-social person, immediately froze up at the feeling of someone hugging him. It was Feliciano, though. That changed his reaction then it normally would have been. He awkwardly returned it, feeling the other's head rest softly on his shoulders. Ludwig couldn't help but notice the warmth of being this close to something, the color of the light reflecting off of Feliciano's head, and the comforting silence that followed. A smile crept onto his smile at the hushed thanks, his eyes tracing as Feliciano wiped his eyes and gave another grin. He could only avert his own blue orbs in embarrassment. "Do you like dancing? I have an old record player. I thought you wouldn't mind dancing..I may have a Christmas song, or something." Ludwig frowned, his blond eyebrows knitting in thought.

"That sounds very nice." Feliciano squeaked, nodding in agreement. "It surprises me that you like to dance," he said, following the other man. "Definitely not a bad surprise. A good surprise." Studying Ludwig, Feli came to the conclusion that he was probably a good dancer, to be honest. He looked like he was good at everything, probably. Very sturdy. "I love christmas. It's my favorite holiday—winter is so cold, but christmas is so warm and cozy. It's perfect." He followed the other dutifully. "You know, you get to spend it with people you care about, so that's nice. Anyway, that was me saying that I love christmas music. But whatever you suggest, I'm sure it'll be fine." Feliciano was a trusting person, and he knew Lud meant him no harm. He just seemed so trustworthy and nice.
