Aww, nice

Guppies are my favorite fish: they're beautiful, inquisitive and absolutely fearless. If I could keep just one kind of fish, they'd be guppies.

Do any of you guys know where I can get a huge hollow log decoration for my tank? Like. Really huge.
I need one big enough for my blood parrots to go inside with my fat African featherfin without scraping up his sides
He's been doing that a lot lately I'm worried he might do worse than just scrapes if I don't replace his log with a bigger one
Our local Wal-mart has good decor, so does our local Petsmart (though I wouldn't buy any fish there).
We had a party and my little cousins kept tapping on my sick baby's tank. Poor dear, I hope she didn't get stressed out.

Today I noticed that my Petsmart had an example tank with a huge goldfish and Pleco stating that the goldie was a 17 cent feeder and the Pleco was 2 inches when they were put in. It talked about how much room they really need which I liked, and they had lots of room to grow. Anyone else have stores nearby them that do that? :3

Every Petsmart I've ever visited sells sick, lethargic fish from tiny tanks.

I've found Petco's and PetSmarts to be rather hit-or-miss. I have been to some that are actually decent, and some that I'd never buy a fish from.
In other news, nearly every one of my fish has bitten me as of today. My little ocellaris clown attacked me during maintenance

About 10 days ago I bought five more neon tetras to grow my group to 15. What I didn't notice at the store was that one of them had a partially missing gill cover. I hoped he would survive, and he seemed to be doing well, but yesterday I found him dead
I hate losing fish, no matter what the cause.

I'm sorry for your loss. Rest in peace, little tetra.
It sucks to lose fish. Whether it's from sickness, injury, old age, etc. it's frustrating and sad :c
