Avean didn't catch all of the sentance that Death said, but she cought, "family" and "taken". Avean walked to him and gave him a friendly nuzzle to cheer him up.

He still didn't move or look up "This isn't good, at all." Death said then he became furious. He satrted to scream at the sky. A tear fell down Shadow's face. She said "Calm down" to Death. She wanted to yell too but she knew it was wrong.

"Death," Avean asked, "It's okay," altough she didn't think so.

"No its not, they took them, all of them except Shadow! They took my brothers, sister, mom, and dad." death said "Maybe they are still alive, just imprisioned" shadow said but wasn't too sure of what she had just said

"Death, I know how you feel. My sister was taken from me," said Avean, "She was the only thing my parents told me told me take car of, and I've failed! A least you still have someone!" she started to get angry at Death.

Mordecai walked over towards the water and look at his reflection. He jumped back a little, surprised at himself. He hadn't known what his face had looked like now a days. He looked at it again. My..my eyes...they glow? He thought to himself. Then he had a strange epiphany. "What if." He said, "What if this isn't some natural occurrence, these dark creatures? What if the white coats created them? It makes sense. We have no other way to explain them. What if they're like me? Abandoned experiments."

"But whitecoats can't be in the twilight darkness area, they would be sorta like... gohsts. Shadow beast might be from a different deminsion" shadow said "Well sorry, its not my fault that they took your family or mine! They are creating something evil that we have to stop! Why is it so hard for us to do that though..." death said

"If they are, the white coats are going to pay," said Avean cooling down a bit. "Sorry, I haven't thought about my sister for a long time," she said to Death.

"Ya I want to hurt them so bad. But its my fault. I shouldn't have gotten so angry. They are just annoying" he said looking at her. "I still don't know if the whitcoats could've created this mess though. It seems like they would have to be more powerful to be like taking light away from the world" shadow said

"Your hypothesis could also be correct." He said to Shadow. "But we can't know for sure, not until we learn more about them."
