Windrunner grinned to herself, bloodstained canines barely touching her drawn-back lips. She dropped the squirrel at her feet and stretched the kinks out of her back, then licked one delicate white paw and drew it back over her notched ear. Lunarstar will be pleased, she thought proudly. I'll go back and collect my sparrow and the two mice I caught earlier. Then I'll return to camp- perhaps Milo will visit today.
