When he takes off running without an answer I follow him. I didn't know why I trusted him enough to leave my phone and just run away basically. I hoped my father wouldn't get home and talk to the cops. He would sure screw things up and turn me in. I kept running, adrenaline and caffeine the only things keeping me going. I wouldn't stop no matter how much I hurt. When we got there, it was apparently a gas station that had seen better days. I stood, bending over with my hands on my knees panting and catching my breath.

I sigh and shake my head, regaining my composure. "I'll crawl," I offer, waiting for him to go first. I didn't want to be awkward and he didn't exactly seem enthusiastic.

"I hoped so", he said grinning. "I'll crawl too", he added and went first through the dry grass, stopping once and a while to avoid dog poop and cigarettes. "Ok, first of all, I didn't take you to a TOTAL dump. It's WAY better inside", he said, smiling widely.

"Yep, I'm not afraid to get dirty and I didn't want you to have to carry me," I said while getting down on my knees and starting to make my way through the grass. It was really itchy against my skin and I wished I wore a jacket, since I was also quite cold. I could practically hear his smile even though I couldn't see his face. He must like this place. "Alright I guess I'll see when we get there. I expect comfy beds and a blanket," I said, grinning. I honestly didn't care as long as it was warmer and entertaining.

"Yeah, it's used for over-night college parties, so there should be beds. Well... if they're not being.. used", Noah says, blushing slightly, as they near the building, loud music coming from within.
