I voted neutral for a similar reason to Dia.. I don't think I will be able to handle part of my herd being in a different lineart due to how much of a perfectionist I am, pff
I would be all for it if we hired people to convert them if the owner wishes to, and would even be willing to transfer designs myself if we need volunteers, since I feel pretty confident in my abilities to copy designs accurately into art. I know horsy can make some amazing new lines so I would looove to have some new ones if my equids can be converted somehow. But ultimately, even if conversions aren't an option I will survive and probably grow to like the change.

Agreed. I think that if people wanted their equids to be transferred over to new lines then maybe there could be separate artists hired specifically for transferring?

Eeeh I can't say the idea of a new lineart is appealing to me one bit. I love WMEs the way they are, I have for almost 3 years, and I'd kind of hate to see them change, ya know? >~> I've never been one for change to begin with, though.

While that 65% is super tempting, I voted no ^^;
Every artist's style is unique and I can't imagine their style being replicated perfectly on new lines by someone else
I also have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and would lose my mind with half my herd on one set of lines or not perfectly copied over Q-Q

It's Tuesday Again. wrote:hachster54 wrote:but I would just like to say, there are websites out there that you can find hex codes with. And I think there is a way to use hex codes on oekaki? (*isn't positive*)
Yes there is, I can show you in a JM if you'd like? It's kind of hard to explain with words cx
Nah, thanks though. I haven't been able to use oekaki in awhile, and probably won't for a long time yet. I'd be wasting your time. Thanks for confirming it, though.
And yes, it could take awhile. But, it
is do-able.
@Butter Dragon
Any news on the newsletter idea you had? (I think it was you, if memory serves correctly...? I'm to lazy to go back and check for sure...)

Same here. I probably won't even be able to look at the new Equids or have to create a seperate thread for them xD this will drive me mad

I just can't imagine how much trouble it would be for the artists who are hired to transfer designs to do that job.
It just kinda seems like a crappy position. xD
Like twitchy said, each style is unique... and people can't copy them 100%... which is what most of the community will want, expect, and demand.
It seems like a recipe for disaster, really, to have people hired for that. Seems like something people would be initially very excited to do, but would end up running from the community screaming after a while.

Just trying to give suggestions...I voted neutral. Kinda playing devil's advocate here >.>
