When you project your dae, are they usually in natural or unnatural forms?
Toss-up between the two. Crocotta (mythical) is a common form but I also am trying to learn to project my actual Reedbuck form.

When you project your daemon, how close to you is he or she?
Maximum five feet. Usually he's on or right next to me. Very rarely have I projected him from a distance.

Also, guys, we have an announcement that chisagër would like to make!
yes, well, I have found out that we have finally settled! Generally I stay in this form, but I like to run around as a snow leopard sometimes. I tried to shift and found out that I couldn't. I have been trying for a few days, and so lexi and I have decided we must be settled! I am so happy!
Would this mean anything else?

I hate to be a Negative Nancy but that's not how settling works. I'd read this pretty good essay on settling since it'll say pretty much anything I would.

Sometimes if I project Tae as only one form for even just a couple days I have trouble projecting him in a different form (the image I want to project him as just sorts of transparently hovers over him? It's weird.) It's kind of like being "stuck" in one form. Perhaps that's what happened to you?
To get "unstuck" I usually don't push it and when I'm not really thinking about it I have him "slide" into another form, and then imagine his old form disappearing with a "poof." Sounds kind of funny but it works for us.

It's all in your head, there are unsettled Daemons who never change and settled Daemons who hardly ever stay in their settled form. Settling is just a term for having a form that fits you and that most likely isn't going to change and hasn't in a very long while. Many Daemons simply choose to stay in their settled form. Try forcing a change or just letting it be for a while. You can change into a polkadot bright pink toaster if you'd like, you can be whatever you'd like to be.

Hmmm...oh I've got one! What helps you project your dae more clearly?
I've had trouble with thoroughly projecting Dael so he looks real and detailed, and I found that spending time with real animals or watching The Golden Compass helps.

Hmm... When I project Lleuad it helps to watch GC, like you said, or just spend some time in my room practicing.

a nebelung cat. we're stable as that, and also it's pretty easy for me to project and i'm used to it.

Thylacine and working on Reedbuck. Reedbuck is my actual form and Thylacines are my favorite animal. I'm also keen on projecting him as a Numbat or Yellow-Winged Bat.
