The she-cat gave a respectful dip of her head to Bunny, taking large bites as she listened to
Softwillow.

The cream and brown tabby she-cat waved her long-furred tail. "Well first, there are many
ranks, beginning with leader." She began. "Then deputy, and then the warriors. The warriors
have apprentices, kits who have reached six moons and can begin their training. The leader
will have a ceremony for the kit, renaming him with the prefix '-paw', and give him a mentor.
Then, once the apprentice's mentor feels that she or he is trained well enough to become
a warrior, the leader has another ceremony after an assessment. Then, there are the queens.
These are the she-cats who are expecting kits or are nursing kits. They stay in the nursery,
and are cut off from warrior duties." She took a deep breath of air. "Whoo. Then, elders.
They're the oldest, and are moved to the elders den after they cannot do their warrior duties
anymore. You don't have to worry about them being useless, though, they keep pesky apprentices
easily distracted with their stories, and can give queens a break by playing with the kits." She finished.
"Now, about the leaders." She sighed. "They have to go to the Moon-lit cavern to gain nine lives, which
StarClan gives to them." She began, but off by a gasp from Willow.
