Optimus Pride.

Optimus literally translates into "best." After years of selective breeding, a few mutations, and minor isolation, a pride of lions has emerged out of a mountain range in North America. They have adapted to eat anything available, similar to that of their black bear neighbors. They come in nearly every natural coat color and pattern, along with some bright color accents and a vast variety of mane styles. Females have also developed the gene for manes, but they never have the full out mane of the typical male lion. Strangely, each lion has a floating companion. Some people believe these creatures act as a sort of conscious. These companions take the shape of sea animals, and the swim through the air following the lion they accompany. These companions are also always monochromatic in color.

Species Guidelines.

Coat;

• Can be any pattern that's seen in the natural world.
• Common coat patterns are that of equines, felines, and canines.
• Though they can have unnatural accent colors, most of their coat is a natural color.

Mane;

• Can be any length or hair like style.
• However, they never have an obsessive amount of mane; nothing longer or more than a typical lion's mane.
• Females will never have a full out lion's mane.

Mutations;

• Horns have been found on these lions, though no two sets are alike.
• Glowing eyes and markings have been report.
• Rarely, a lion will be found without a companion.

Rules.

• You may own up to 5.
• Do not steal or claim the species as your own.
• If you no longer want your lion, you can give it back and it will be adopted out or you can give it to another user.
• Customs are not available.
• Please don't complain if you don't win.
