introduction

it's snowing outside as you make your way to the intricately carved building.
corinthian columns hold up the gargantuan structure that seems to be over one hundred years old.
everything is white as far as the eye can see. as you approach, small specks of color await you at the door.
two jewel maned dragons stand in front of the door, guarding the heart of the building from intruders.
the guard on the right's stoic face is soon replaced with a smile that can warm anyone up in the snowing landscape.
"are you entering the ball?", he asks. "or are you working this evening," the silent guard on the left inquires.
your breath can be seen as you reply to the guards and the large doors open with ease, revealing a room filled with color.

information
welcome to the second annual masquerade ball.
this year, the ball is a winter time charity event where jewel mane dragons can work at or attend the ball.
with the help of donations and volunteers to work at the ball, less fortunate jewelies will be able to get presents for the holidays.
attendees will be able to dine as they please as well as mingle and dance, but they must donate.
volunteers will be waiting tables and walking around with trays, as well as working in the kitchen.
those volunteering will only work for an hour or two and will be paid with two tickets (for a friend and themselves) to attend the ball.

masks are mandatory, but can be taken off during the night.
the dress code is black tie for those attending, and a generic waiter uniforms will be provided for those working.
