Registered name: Honey Bee Romance
Nickname: Honey
Age: twelve years old
Gender: mare
Breed: Prominent thoroughbred, might have the blood of an Arabian somewhere in her, but she is mostly thoroughbred

Personality: Honey is a stereotypical mare, nasty and bull headed. It`s hard to keep this mare under control, but when beaten into submission, she`s not that bad of a mare. Honey wants the best for her foals, and her foals will get the best. She competitive and energetic, typical thoroughbred here. Honey, having been on the track till she was five years old, is very much so skittish. She spooks at a whole lot of things, including birds. Other than this, Honey loves to play with her foals. She`ll get to rough housing with them, often racing and playfully fighting. Alert is one more trait of both her and the thoroughbred. She is the perfect watch mare, because of this. All together, Honey is a typical mare.
History: Honey was born at Loo Loo Racing Stables and Stud. She was born out of Better than Honour, and sired by Malibu Moonshine, making her a half sister to 2004 foaled filly named Rags To Riches. Anyway, when foaled on April 1st, there was complications. Honour died shortly after the foaling of this filly, leaving the three hour old filly to fend for herself for the during the of night. The morning after her birth, the morning hand discovered this filly, and quickly put her with a different mare who had just lost her own foal. The hands took the mare`s, the mare being named, Pocahontas Bay, a retired broodmare, blanket, and covered Honey with the scent of Bay. Bay took the filly in with a moment of hesitation, but Honey had a foster mother. For the next four months, everything went fine. Until Bay rejected the filly. She had stopped producing milk. At four months old, Honey was bottled fed. She remained with Bay, keeping the bond and Bay disciplined Honey into the mare she was when she was two years and in training. Once at two years, she was sent off to the big thoroughbred sale in Kentucky, a two year old and training sale. With her blood lines, she sold for half a million dollars, and was shipped down to Louisiana. At three years, she was a top racer. She was set to run in the Juvenile Filly Breeder`s cup. Honey was trained by the best, owned by the best, and was treated the best. Though this mare had a temper on her, she ran the cup and won it. At five years old, she was retired due to injury, and bred to War Front, a world leading sire. She foaled a jumping quality filly who went on to training at two years. Now seven, they stopped breeding her. thinking she would never throw a racing quality foal. Honey went off to a sale in Ocala, Florida, by a company named OBS. She sold at $1.2 million for a broodmare prospect, just eleven years old. They shipped her to Ohio to be bred, but it failed through. She was bred again just before she turned thirteen to Big Brown, Kentucky Derby winner. Six months later, a fire broke out in the Ohio barn. She escaped and became a loner in some feral state. This is how she is now, now nine months pregnant and wild.
Appearance: Honey is a well built thoroughbred, stouter than most, but well built, much like her sire. She is a rich chestnut color to add to that, with a simple star on her forehead. She stands at 15.3 hands, a little on the shorter side, but beauty takes up for most of it. She has a long back, and a wide set head when standing at the "correct" way a thoroughbred should stand, as well as when she`s not pregnant. Her body is evenly portioned, meaning her shoulders match the width of her hindquarters, her knees are front and centered, and her legs aren`t crooked. Her nostrils are wide, letting her take in breaths better than any different breeds, such as the Shire or the quarter horse. Her ears are long, but enough to stand straight and pin back against her skull. Her chest is pushed in a little bit more, making her front legs a little off from afar, but this mare can run when put up to it. All together, Honey is an evenly built mare who lives up to her bloodlines.
Quirk[s]: She tosses her head when nervous, a normal quirk for any horse.
Sire: Malibu Moonshine
Dam: Better than Honour [blood], Pocahontas Bay [adoptive]

Band Stallion: none
Rank[if any]: none
Stage: none; pregnant
Foals: Warring Romance [jumper]; miscarriage; expecting soon

i`ll be adding her filly, "Pistol Annie" soon.

Rosie was bred on a ranch as an experiment. Her breeder owners were quite cruel and at the age of 2, she leaped over the fence and went off into the wild.
