The characters will be based off the The Dragons Of Pern, which you can find more info here. Please skim through that page to get a full understanding of the characters if you have never read the series. And if you havent read the series, she is considered to be the best science fiction writer of the century, next to Game of Thrones.

Semi Literate to Literate RP, though I understand writers block

A terrible sickness is spreading through the planet of Pern. Desperate and losing options, the Fort Weyrleader decided it was time to open the back rooms of the Weyr, rooms that had been closed off since the colonists first landed. In them they found many strange things, including ancient maps and charts of the skies. Simmarrah had an idea. What if she went between time to when the ancients first landed so that they could stop the sickness before it even started. She stole one of the star maps, and placed its coordinates in her mind. She had heard of other riders timing it, it was forbidden and dangerous, but she was confident of their skill. What she and her queen did not know as they slipped between was that the star map wasn't of ancient Pern but of OldEarth.
When the pair arrive from between they find themselves in the year 2015 on a strange new world full of amazing fascinating things!

Intro Post
The pitch black cold of between went bone deep, encasing them in claustrophobic nothingness. Simmarrahs fear grew as the usual 15 seconds of darkness stretched into minutes. The only thing she could feel was warmth of Alimikes scaly skin beneath her gloved fingertips. Her breathing quickened and her heart began to race. Had she been wrong? Had she forever trapped them between, flying the dark depths until they starved to death, or died from the crippling cold?Alimike reached out to her riders mind.

<Itll be OK. I trust you.>

Simmarrah was worried. Her friends voice was faint, not the usual vibrant tones that rang through her head. Are you OK my love?

<I'm just getting tired...> With a sigh the dragon began to pass out. Simmarrah screamed her name, no sound escaping from her lips. They fell through the darkness. Suddenly, light bursts all around Simmarrah. She raises her arm to cover her eyes, blinded by the sudden transition. The woman can feel the sun on her face, the sharp snap of her hair in the wind. She laughs in relief: they were out! They weren't going to die in darkness!

Her exuberance quickly vanishes as she looks around her. The land stretches out below them, shades of green and brown showing the outline of the a forest. They were obviously several miles above the earth, and falling towards its surface.

"Alimike! Ali, wake up!" screamed Simmarrah, both aloud and in her dragons mind, as they plummeted. Her dragon was unresponsive, her mental presence nonexistent.
Simmarrah pummeled her dragon with her fists, trying to wake her. The dragons mind stirred, and she began to react to her rider. Simmarrah could only scream as they fell, the earth getting closer. Alimike back winged two or three times, trying to slow their descent.

They slammed into the trees, branches and twigs shattering around them. The pair crashed hard into the soil, Ali landing awkwardly on her side. The dragon lay where she landed, her eyes half closed. Simmarrah sat in the saddle, stunned. Her arm was at an awkward angle, and a few of her ribs felt cracked. She struggled to release the leg ties on her saddle, and then slipped off her dragons back. Crying out in pain and fear, the dark haired girl stumbled to her dragons head. "Alimike my love, are you hurt? Please answer me!" She sobbed into her neck, there was no response from the golden dragon.

Simmarrah head began to spin and she grew dizzy. Blackness seeped in around her and she collapsed over her dragons neck.


Who will find the dragon? Where will she lay her eggs? Who will become the new modern day dragon riders? What kind of laws will they have to pass? What will the government do?

There could be a very good storyline here, I'd just need others interested in doing it with us.

We currently need a few humans right now, possibly a government official or two. Eventually your human will get a dragon when the eggs hatch!

i am a female who lives in the central part of the united states
my age ranges from 0-25, but i am quite mature anyways
i am very active in the forums, but note that i am not always
going to reply instantly due to low muse. i like to use the [size85] text

i highly prefer to roleplay as the female unless stated otherwise, i suck at
playing males. but i am starting to lean towards playing males, just as long as they aren't canon c: my literacy is semi literate, i can post more than four
lines on my good days. i don't like one liners, but i accept them if it's
only bad writers block and not frequent. i roleplay through thread and pm,
or pm offsite. but the chances of doing offsite is very low, so i prefer here.

Partner search.

I'm looking just for a partner for one of two plots(But I am open to suggestions), I will tell you what the plots below, then tell you the requirements below and what you can expect from me.
Mutants/Experiments- Well, this is just something like maximum ride. The characters escape a facility and have to stay on the run to keep their newly gained freedom.

Superheroes/Heroes- Could be in the Marvel Universe or Dc comics or in a totally different universe. You know how this goes. I would prefer if it was in a mission setting, more like they have to go on different missions rather than fight a common villain, but if you want to, I am fine with it.

For Both Plots(and any other, if planning to suggest)- In both cases I will play a teenager(14-19), I don't care if you have a much older character. Something I've been wanting to try out is an older sibling, younger sibling relationship, you being the older sibling(and it doesn't have to be that much older just one or two years). Or also a twin relationship, that could be interesting. If you want romance, I am up to it, but please double up character, I always end up having to play only male(The other pair of characters don't have to be on a romantic relationship). For both siblings relationship only a pair(one you/one me) is needed, so if you want we can have other characters in a romantic relationship(Only if you REALLY want romance) or the other being just normal comrades/friends/acquaintances (all characters in a small group, of course).

What I Require from You-Not much really, just be able to post once a week. At least post one sentence, understandable grammar and spelling. Be capable of doubling up characters(Not really, just if you want to or is romance).Oh, and help me develop the plot please.

What You Can Expect from Me-I will post at least two sentences, maximum two paragraphs(only if I have a really good muse or mood). I will post at least once a week, depends when, but I will try really hard to reply every day, but I doubt that will be possible(School projects). Able to double up. Good enough grammar and spelling.
