Crookedtail
| Warrior | She-cat | 32 moons | Apprentice: Fernpaw | Crush; Ripplebreeze | Location: camp | tags; Ripplebreeze, Beetlekit, Tigerstep, Fernpaw(mentioned) |

A loud purr sounded from Crookedtail as Ripplebreeze complimented her and moved closer, the lick to her cheek only adding to her flattered state. She puffed out her chest a bit when he mentioned Fernpaw. The gray she-cat moved her tail over so it was resting on top of Ripplebreeze's, her gaze moving over towards the apprentices to rest on Fernpaw. Her heart was about to burst from pride. "I kept my word," she stated proudly, "I told her that she would be an amazing warrior as long as she listened to me." Truly, there was nothing that could make Crookedtail feel even prouder. She had trained Fernpaw. She had been responsible to mentor one of the leader's kits, and she was glad that everything had worked well.

The small form of a kit sitting down in front of her brought Crookedtail's attention elsewhere though. Apparently Beetlekit had slipped out of the nursery once more. The gray she-cat tilted her head to look over at the nursery, and then back at Beetlekit. A low purr of amusement escaped her. Should she tell the kit to go back to his mother? Or allow the young one to sit there? If it was a problem, Leafstar would say so, and for now it seemed okay. It was hard to send the kit back after noticing him push against his paws to stand up taller.

Despite the fact that Crookedtail had mentally allowed Beetlekit's presence, Tigerstep soon approached Beetlekit and told him to go to his mother. The medicine cat truly had no way with kits and apprentices. "It's alright, Tigerstep," Crookedtail soothed lightly before leaning down to lick Beetlekit's head briefly. "I'll keep an eye on him and make sure he behaves during the ceremony. Then I'll send him over to Timebounce and the rest of her kits."

Spiderkit
| Kit | Tom | 3 moons | Location: Camp | tags; Blacktail, Tigerstep(mentioned) |

Spiderkit gladly made his way towards a spot where he could see--but he didn't dare get too close to warriors. He was well aware that this wasn't a place for kits. But it's okay to stay right here, he told himself, sitting down and fidgeting a bit. Or here. Here is fine too, he thought as he scooted a few pawsteps forward. The young tabby tom did this a few times before he saw Tigerstep make his way towards the front of the group. Curiosity took hold of Spiderkit's thoughts and he wondered what Tigerstep was doing. The tom-kit leaned over to the side in an attempt to get a better glance, but eventually gave up and simply looked up at the leader.

After a few heartbeats, that honestly felt like seasons to Spiderkit, he turned his head and checked on Blacktail. Maybe she would let him climb her shoulders for a better view. "Blacktail? Can I stay on your back so I can see better?" he squeaked, his dark brown eyes big and wide as he looked up at the warrior. Hopefully she wouldn't mind.

four fast-moving moons had past since the arrival of bounce, and redstrike's opinion of the she-cat had not changed a bit. the tom avoided her at all costs, and if he did somehow bump into her, redstrike would only ever growl or give dirty looks to the she-cat. would she ever understand why? redstrike hoped not. as much as he hated what leafstar did to him, he was kind enough to keep her dirty secret to himself. redstrike was cruel, but not that cruel.
but on this particular day, with the sun shining and the birds singing, redstrike was in a better mood than usual. this was most likely because of the fact that his kits, his very own kits were on their way to becoming warriors. despite what he put the three siblings through, he truly loved each of them and was incredibly proud of what they were capable of. the tom had shared his sappy moments with the three much earlier than this, so as not to let any of the other cats see him showing kind emotions. now, he would watch from afar, seeing leafstar do her own motherly fussing over their kits. it was a surprise to see her so... happy. he hadn't seen her that way since the kits were, well... kits. before redstrike pushed her away. the ginger cat shook his head of the thoughts, trying hard to sorely focus on the kits. before long, leafstar leaped onto the tall boulder, calling for a meeting. the tom let himself stare just a little longer at his daughter and sons, before padding over to get a spot close to the gathering place.

fawndapple had been soaking up the warm rays of the sun, carefully watching the clan bursting with life. her brothers' kits were becoming warriors, and fawndapple couldn't have been more proud. but watching foxpaw puff his chest out in pride, and fernpaw grinning from ear to ear made the she-cat feel a pang of guilt strike her heart. oddpaw, her own apprentice, was only just properly recovering from a serious injury that had left him stuck as an apprentice for three more moons than necessary. he was forced to see all of the other apprentices train and become warriors, while he had to sit on the sideline. fawndapple was still fully supportive of the young tom, and as soon as he was ready to train again, she would make sure oddpaw was quickly ready for his warrior ceremony.
the she-cat lifted herself from her sunning spot as leafstar called for a gathering - it was time. fawndapple held in her excitement as she padded over to where the rest of the cats were gathering. she cast her pale yellow gaze across the cats, but couldn't see oddpaw anywhere. fawndapple hoped he could make it to the ceremony, so she kept her eyes out for him - if he did turn up, fawndapple wanted nothing more than to share the experience with him.

fernpaw sat close to her mother, their pelts almost touching. leafstar had spent a fair bit of time with the three that day, preparing them for the most important day of their lives. redstrike had done the same, but it was brief - the thought was there, and that was all that mattered to her. her mother seemed so cheerful, an emotion she hadn't truly seen on her face in moons. fernpaw couldn't help but share the same feelings. she was becoming a warrior! a real warrior! it felt like only yesterday she was chasing lionkit around the nursery! the she-cat had woken up exceptionally early that morning, trying to get her head around the whole situation. it was such a big step, but it was going to be fantastic - fernpaw was sure of it.
letting her mind wander, as always, fernpaw began thinking of warrior names. she wanted something nice, that rolled off of he tongue - not too soft, but not too hard. fernwhisker? fernpath? fernstep? they all sounded good to her. all of a sudden, another thought edged into her mind. how will i transfer my nest over? fernpaw took much effort to make her nest look and feel its best, and would never let herself leave it in the apprentices' den. she needed that nest, and that nest only.
yet again, fernpaw's endless mind got the better of her, and only her mothers' words from the tall boulder snapped her back into reality. the she-cat quickly raced off after her brothers, sitting neatly in between them.

this was it. this was the day foxpaw would become a warrior. all of frostfire's hard training came down to this. foxpaw had tried his absolute best in his final test, and it had paid off - the tom was quite skilled when he actually put his mind to doing something. as leafstar swept her tongue over the top of his head, he didn't shy away like he used to when he was little - his mother never showed much affection towards the three apprentices, although she had her reasons, so foxpaw took advantage of the offering and let his mother be a mother. "try all you will, dear mother, but that nasty piece of fur will remain rebellious so long as it shall stay upon my head," the ginger tom chuckled, using a funny voice in his reply. even on a day like this, foxpaw couldn't refrain from being foxpaw. the apprentice turned, letting leafstar fuss over the other two while he looked for emberpaw - today was her big day, too. when he finally spotted the pretty she-cat, foxpaw put on a cheeky grin and slipped beside her. "well hello, ember...light? embershine? embergaze? am i getting hotter or colder?" the tom joked, laughing softly. he let his vision rest calmly on emberpaw, a small, crooked grin permanently attached to his features. "are you ready to become a warrior?"

Lionpaw fought hard to keep his dignified stature through his excitement; what kind of new warrior wiggled? He didn't pay much attention to the other apprentices, and what they were doing; all he could focus on was keeping his head high and his tail still. If he let his thoughts wander, the tip of his tail would start flicking. For most cats that meant irritation, but Lionpaw had a habit of doing it when he got excited. He was satisfied when he glanced down to see that it lay perfectly still, wrapped neatly around his paws.

Lionpaw almost jumped when Emberpaw came up next to him; he would have if he hadn't sensed her moving her way to the front and heard the soft padding of her feet as she approached. How could he ever think he wouldn't make a good warrior? No bad warrior could keep focused yet aware like that, or at least Lionpaw didn't think so. Everybody has different strengths, Stormstrike's voice meowed in his head. The tom had had to constantly say that during training when Lionpaw would get cocky. He relaxed a little bit and turned to smile cheerfully at Emberpaw, tilting his head forward a little bit in greeting. Emberpaw was pretty cool; they'd always been denmates, since she was the same age as him, so it wasn't like he didn't know her. They'd never really talked much, though, since Emberpaw had always seemed to like playing with Fernpaw and Cottonpaw better.
"I'm ready," he meowed in response to her question, sort of avoiding saying that he was excited. Of course he was excited; that was a given, since it was the day of their warrior ceremonies. Then, seemingly oblivious of Lionpaw's conversation with the she-cat, Foxpaw padded up to them and started talking to Emberpaw. Lionpaw flicked an ear, but for the most part, he didn't mind; his brother often did things like that.

A sudden silence fell over the clan; it was the kind of silence that was not really recognized as a silence at all, but more like tense, eager waiting. It was the kind of silence that could only mean Leafstar was ready to speak. Lionpaw gazed up at his mother's powerful figure, his dark amber eyes meeting her soft gray-green ones at the exact moment she called him forward. A ripple of shock ran through Lionpaw as his name rolled off her tongue, but it only stayed for a heartbeat before he immediately pulled himself together and padded forward with a dignified not-too-slow, not-too-fast step. He didn't have to try to seem proud and confident; he was proud and confident. Lionpaw hung on every single word his mother said; he knew that each one led to the most important word of them all: the one that would tell him the name he would hold for the rest of his life.

A little, shivery feeling ran through him when she named him Lionclaw and said he was courageous and loyal. It all sounded so noble to his ears that even Lionclaw wondered if he really deserved it for a second. Lionclaw. He liked the name; it would take less time to get used to than another name might, since '-claw' still rhymed with '-paw.' But it means so much more, he thought as he padded back to the crowd of cats shouting his new name.

Leafstar watched in approval as the clan quickly assembled. Most of them seemed genuinely excited for the ceremony; ceremonies didn't happen very often, of course, since kits came in waves with the seasons. As expected, Timebounce emerged, and her kits bounded out after her- or in Beetlekit's case, came out before her and sat among the warriors. Leafstar didn't mind if they watched; it was important for them to understand the honors of becoming a warrior from a young age. She believed that Timebounce could decide whether or not she wanted the kits to watch. The gathering call was really just a formality that would only be followed if the situation was too serious to discuss in front of kits.

When everyone seemed gathered and settled down, she stood up again and was pleased when a hush fell over the cats. Leafstar was not a power-thirsty cat, but the feeling of having that much respect gave her a sort of high that in turn gave her confidence.
"Lionpaw, please step forward." she meowed, looking down at her orange-pelted son. His dark amber eyes flashed with surprise at being called forward first, but as he padded forward away from the other apprentices, he walked with very clear confidence and pride. He stopped halfway between the cats and the rock, and Leafstar jumped gracefully down to stand before him. "I, Leafstar, leader of StoneClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend (him/her) to you as a warrior in his turn." There was a brief pause. Then,

"I do." Lionpaw said it with such undeniable honesty and confidence that Leafstar had to restrain herself from purring out loud. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Lionpaw, from this moment you will be known as Lionclaw. StarClan honors your courage and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of StoneClan." She rested her muzzle lightly on his head and he licked her shoulder, and Leafstar almost felt like crying with joy when she heard the clan accept her son by proudly shouting his name. Great StarClan, how was she going to make it through Foxpaw and Fernpaw's ceremonies if she was almost crying now? Leafstar took a deep breath and waited for the cheering of Lionpaw's name to die down and for him to settle in among his fellow warriors. "Foxpaw, please step forward. "

"Lionclaw! Lionclaw! Lionclaw!"
Stormstrike couldn't help but feel a surge of pride race through him as he joined
the thundering of chants, welcoming his once-apprentice as a full warrior of
StoneClan. The large tom's voice boomed at its loudest amongst the others', and
his eyes glimmered with vivacity. Watching the new warrior stride confidently
through the crowd, he couldn't help but reminisce back to the day when Lionclaw
was appointed as his apprentice. His first apprentice, may he add. A clumsy,
humble, boastful, and ambitious kit Lionclaw had been, often times seeming to
trip over his own large paws. He had even had to note at one point of Lionclaw's
training that his apprentice had grown up to his collarbone. Stormstrike could
never have been more honored to train such a fine young tom, bound to be a
threatening opponent on the battle field, also quite a notable hunter, and, most
of all, one who was undyingly loyal to his clan. Yet, here he was today, celebrating
his greatest moments of glory in his short lifetime, parading with his head high
through the mob of StoneClan cats. May StarClan light your path, always, Lionclaw.

The gray tom blinked in satisfaction as the new warrior took his seat. Stormstrike
would miss spending time with his apprenti-er-friend. Not too far away were the
other apprentices, whom Stormstrike had only but glanced at up until this moment,
and he focused on each individual cat, one-by-one. Emberpaw, Fernpaw, and
Foxpaw. They've all grown a considerable amount as well.
Turning his head back up
to Leafstar, the warrior could only imagine what his leader was feeling at this
moment. To watch her kits turn into warriors, and to even have the ability to give
each one their permanent name, was truly a blessing. What a merry atmosphere..
four new warriors, a new litter of kits..StoneClan hasn't seen days like this in seasons.

"Lionclaw! Lionclaw! Lionclaw!"
Wow! He's not LionPAW anymore, he's LionCLAW! Cottonpaw's large, minty
green eyes glittered in awe of the tall young warrior as he marched through
the crowd. She stretched her neck and strained to catch a better glimpse at
her former denmate, but before she could congratulate him from afar, he
had already begun to settle down. Cottonpaw slumped down and curled her
tail over her paws as the crowd died down to a loud murmur, and twitched
her whisker. Lionpa-claw, had always seemed so distant from the small
she-cat, always off to train with Stormstrike, laughing along with his friends
and littermates, or out doing whatever he did. But, that was alright, as
Lionclaw was a warrior now, and could Even Emberpaw's leaving the den, and
now I'll be all alone!
Her tortoiseshell friend seemed to be waiting for her
turn to be called up, and her fur bristled ever-so-slightly, along with Foxpaw
and Fernpaw. They all look so excited, and so grown-up! No wonder they're
going to be warriors today.
The cream-furred she-cat slinked closer to the
front to catch a better view of Leafstar. Her paws itched in excitement and
slight remorse that she herself couldn't become a warrior today, but, this was
no time for such thoughts. There would be no way, in a million lifetimes, that
she would remotely miss out on Foxpaw's, Fernpaw's, and Emberpaw's
ceremonies.

"Lionclaw! Lionclaw! Lionclaw!"
Duskpaw felt quite content at that moment, seeing the young, new
warrior seem to burst with joy at the announcement of his new name
and status. Happiness was quite a contagious thing, even to the point
of being sickening at StoneClan's current state. Even Redstrike was
bound to be filled to the brink with pride, and, for once, in a good
mood. Duskpaw padded over to his mentor, taking a cramped spot at
the front, beside the ginger warrior. The charcoal-brown tom turned
his gaze up to Redstrike briefly, but quickly fixed his eyes back to the
ground to avoid a bitter scolding. It doesn't even seem fair. Sure,
they're older than me by two moons or so, but why can't I become a
warrior too?
He took a personal note to work especially hard these
next few days, while his mentor was still in a bright mood. Perhaps he
could earn some leniency if he did well...but, then again, this was
Redstrike. Ha, best of luck to these four cats in their vigil tonight. I
can't wait to wake up tomorrow to find them piled together in their sleep.

there was no time for emberpaw to answer his question, because the ceremony had begun. lionpaw was the first to be brought to the front of the clan, presented with the name lionclaw. when the clan all chanted his name, foxpaw made sure to be extra loud to show his happiness to his brother. leafstar seemed to be having trouble keeping her composure, her eyes gleaming as if she were about to cry. foxpaw didn't understand quite how much this day meant to the she-cat, but he had no doubt that one day, when he had kits of his own, he would react just the same. suddenly, his voice was called. the ginger and white tom took a deep breath, trying to control himself. foxpaw padded awkwardly to his mother, afraid to move too quickly, but once he stood in front of leafstar, his awkwardness washed away. the tom stood tall, his chest puffed out as per usual, and he waited to hear his warrior name.

Beetlekit jumped when he heard a voice speak to him in the midst of the quiet. He looked up to see the figure of Tigerstep towering over him. He leaned back, nearly falling over and looked evenly at the tom with wide eyes. He was not afraid of Tigerstep, just surprised to see him there. It fascinated him that a cat that seemed to want to hurt everybody was the one healing them all. He'd gotten a front row seat of the action when he'd hurt his paw on a sharp rock half a moon before. As far as he could tell, herbs were nothing less than magic.

He sat now, contemplating the medicine cat's question. "Well, just because I don't have a mentor doesn't mean I'm not an apprentice," he said in a small, quiet voice. Oh, how he hated his voice. He faced forward again and shifted on his paws. "I still learn things, right? Isn't that what apprentices do?" He asked innocently. "Besides, Lionpaw and Foxpaw are my friends." He paused when chanting sounded around him. "I mean Lionclaw," he corrected.

Beetlekit craned his neck around, whipping it towards the voice beside him that spoke. On his other side was Crookedtail offering to watch him. He looked forward and lashed his tail. Not that he really needed watching. There wasn't exactly anything better to be doing at this particular moment. Maybe later, but not now. He could always sneak away when he wanted to. The older cats always thought they had "caught" him but they wouldn't have if he didn't want to be. At least, that was the case so far. Though perhaps all of the incidents had been like now, with Timebounce watching him without his knowledge. Either way, he felt sneaky and superior in general. Perhaps it would come in handy when he was older.

Timebounce noticed Tigerstep approaching Beetlekit and took a slight step forward. Then she stopped herself. She was going to get Beetlekit out of there if it wasn't proper, as she wasn't sure if everyone would find it acceptable for a kit to be among the warriors. She saw no harm in it, but she still couldn't be positive. After a pause, she sat back and even showed a small smile. She was sure he'd be fine. After a moment, she turned her attention back to the scene before her. She smiled wider as Lionclaw was named. She was sure Leafstar would be proud. She knew she would be, when the time came for her own kits. At fist she was not sure if she wanted to stay, simply because of all the hostility directed at her. However, she'd quickly made friends. She did not think she'd be going anywhere for a long time. However, there was still one cat she'd been wary off. Her eyes drifted to Redstrike. Of course he would be in the front, as they were his kits as well, being named. She was not sure what problem he had with her, but she'd decided to simply keep her distance for the sake of her and her kits. She didn't trust him a single bit and did not blame Leafstar for not being with him anymore, as she assumed the break up she'd heard about had been due to his hostile demeanor. She glanced over her shoulder to glance at her own kits then back to Beetlekit, making sure no one managed to get away again.

The tom nodded in agreement to Crookedtail. Fernpaw would make a great warrior. He then turned his attention back to Leafstar as Lionpaw stepped forward. He could only imagine the pride his leader must feel- making her kit a warrior. If that was him standing up upon the position of leader, naming his own kin he would be beaming with pride and happiness. Then she announced his warrior name. Lionclaw. It rang through his head a few times before he joined in with the rest of the clan’s chanting. “Lionclaw, Lionclaw!” He cheered along side his clan-mates, congratulating the young tom on his new rank amongst the clan. “I wonder what Fernpaw’s warrior name will be.” Ripplebreeze leaned towards Crookedtail and spoke in a whisper. It brought a purr of amusement to the tom's chest when he saw Foxpaw step forward- ready to follow his brother in earning his warrior name. The way his chest was puffed in pride reminded Ripplebreeze of when he was an apprentice.

If there was one thing Jinxshade hated more than gatherings amongst the clan, it was ceremonies. Sure it was a sacred tradition that all clan-cats had to go through at some point in time but she had always hated them. After joining the clan she was given a mentor to train her- Though he father had taught her all the skills she needed. It was pointless in her eyes. Why had she needed to be re-trained in the ways of the clan? What she hated the most however was her warriors ceremony. The spotlight was on her when given the name ‘Jinxshade.” She remembered the crowd shouting and yowling her name with pride. She hated the attention however, every second it had gone by she wished to be anywhere else but there. At today’s warrior ceremony she sat at the very back of the gathering of cats- to avoid conversation and be as alone as possible.

Tigerstep kept a steady gaze on his son, wrapping a cool tail neatly over his paws. Beetlekit. The firstborn kit - Tigerstep could never forget it. He was a good, safe mix of himself and Timebounce. Safe. So no one knew. The tabby shook his head, rolled his eyes, and sighed in exasperation. Beetlekit spoke with a strange air of maturity for a kit of his age, Tigerstep would admit, though he was not at all surprised. Of course a kit of his lineage would be smart. "Last I checked, kits were apprenticed at six moons of age," he retorted. "You're still a kit, Beetlekit."

The crowd began to roar around him and the medicine cat looked around at the Tall Rock. Ah, Lionclaw. Tigerstep waved his tail high in congratulations and joined the crowd - a rare sight, really, but the tom knew how great of an achievement becoming a warrior was. "Lionclaw, Lionclaw!" he joined in, amber eyes bright. Someday, that would be his kits up there. But he would be here. Sitting in the darkness, shrouded by secrets.

The tom flicked his ears as Crookedtail joined, her gray fur weaving through the crowd. He considered her offer and nodded, tail swishing. "Alright, Crookedtail." With that said, he looked once more at Beetlekit and disappeared further into the crowd, squeezing past his Clanmates to get to the front.

"Embergaze?" the calico apprentice teased Foxpaw. "My eyes aren't that pretty!" Though she would admit that his selection of names sounded so...cool. She liked all of them! Embershine? She began to wander about the one thing that all apprentices wondered - what would her given name be? Oh, how she couldn't wait. Emberpaw laughed and nudged Foxpaw. "How about you, huh? Fox...leap? Foxswipe?" Then, her whiskers twitched in amusement. "I'm as ready as ever! How about you?"

Emberpaw sat excitedly, body shaking. How could she ever stay still? As Lionpaw was called up, she licked down a tuft of unruly shoulder fur. Leafstar then named Lionpaw Lionclaw, in memory of his battle skills. Emberpaw brightened, her yellow eyes bright in celebration of her Clanmate's achievement. "Lionclaw! Lionclaw! Lionclaw!" she cried out, fur fluffed with joy. Suddenly, Lionpa-claw looked bigger. Prouder. Taller. Stronger. His aura sparked with something that Emberpaw could not really put her paw on. Whatever it was, he glowed.

She listened as Leafstar called up her second son, Foxpaw. "You got this," she assured the ginger apprentice in a mere whisper as he padded forward, obviously shaken with anxiety.

Crookedtail
| Warrior | She-cat | 32 moons | Apprentice: Fernpaw | Crush; Ripplebreeze | Location: Camp | tags; Ripplebreeze |

"Lionclaw! Lionclaw!" Crookedtail yowled happily into the air as Lionclaw received his warrior name. She pushed against her front paws and reared onto her hind legs a bit, trying her best to let her voice be heard amongst her clanmates. She then rested once more on her paws and sat down properly. Thankfully, it seemed that Tigerstep was okay with her watching over Beetlekit during the ceremony. She gave him a respectful nod before watching him disappear into the crowd.

Upon hearing Ripplebreeze speak, Crookedtail fixed her gaze on Fernpaw. "I don't know, but I bet it will be an amazing name," she purred proudly. That was her former apprentice up there... or at least, she would be her former apprentice as soon as she received her warrior name. Excitement pulsed through Crookedtail's body, shivering lightly just with the thought of Fernpaw joining the ranks of warriors. Maybe she'll like to keep her nest next to mine? she wondered briefly, honestly having always enjoyed Fernpaw's company. Although, she was also quite intent on possibly moving her own nest so it was close to Ripplebreeze... Those are things to decide later, she told herself after a moment of thought, right now I just need to pay attention. It was ironic, almost, that Crookedtail was getting so distracted during her apprentice's warrior ceremony, given that one of the things Fernpaw worked on often was her attention. So with a happy purr, Crookedtail moved her gaze over towards Foxpaw, who was about to receive his warrior name.

Leafstar felt warmth run through her as Foxpaw came forward, his demeanor entirely different from Lionclaw's. Her sons very different and alike at the same time; both tended to be conversational and both of them had inflated egos, though Lionclaw's was probably worse than Foxpaw's. However, Foxpaw was more of a fun, humorous cat while Lionclaw seemed to have more of his father's loyalty and discipline. Nonetheless, she loved her sons both dearly, and she couldn't be more proud of either of them. "I, Leafstar, leader of StoneClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Foxpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" She waited for a moment before Foxpaw said I do. Then, she continued the ceremony.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Foxpaw, from this moment you will be known as Foxnose. StarClan honors your bravery and enthusiasm, and we welcome you as a full warrior of StoneClan." She rested her muzzle lightly on his head and he licked her shoulder, and Leafstar felt a sort of calmness wash over her as the clan called Foxnose's name. Her sons were now warriors; what was there to cry about? The only thing for her to do was make her pride in them, including Fernpaw and Emberpaw, known... and the only way to do that was if she kept it together. "Fernpaw, please step forward. " Leafstar smiled a little bit at her daughter as she walked forward. Fernpaw was the only daughter that Leafstar had gotten to raise, and she had to say that having a she-cat was a totally different experience than having a tom. "I, Leafstar, leader of StoneClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Fernpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Leafstar beamed with pride as her daughter said 'I do.' "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Fernpaw, from this moment you will be known as Ferncloud. StarClan honors your determination and honesty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of StoneClan." Leafstar always loved how the clan's energy kept up throughout ceremonies, even where there were multiple cats being named.

"Emberpaw, please step forward. " Leafstar smiled at the tortoiseshell and white she-cat as she padded forward, fond memories of the young she-cat coming to the forefront of her mind. She knew Emberpaw surprisingly well, actually; she had been born at around the same time Foxnose, Ferncloud, and Lionclaw had been and had often been their playmate, which meant that despite the fact that Leafstar hadn't raised them in the nursery, she spent a surprising amount of time over there. "I, Leafstar, leader of StoneClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Emberpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" the she-cat, as had the others before her, said 'I do.' "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Emberpaw, from this moment you will be known as Emberwhisker. StarClan honors your intelligence and kindness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of StoneClan." Leafstar followed the same motions she had with the three others, and as she pulled back, she couldn't get her smile to go away... and she honestly didn't want to. It always made her happy to have new warriors in the clan, and she could only become happier when three of them were her own kin.
