------- Basic information
Part canine, and part plant, these odd creatures were found at the same time all over the world's forests. No one is quite sure why they all suddenly appeared, but we'll leave the speculation up to you. They appear to be closely connected to nature and life in general. The happier a Sproutling in the home, the better the vegetation nearby appears!
------- Basic Traits
Sproutlings have been found with many different manes, three types of tails, and a variety of plant species somewhere on their body. The most common of plant species is a small bonsai-like tree, and next are mushrooms. Surprisingly enough, different ear types have also been found- ranging from seal ears to fennec fox, to mouse! Sproutlings also lack claws, which made it difficult for scientists to classify them. Sproutlings may also be found with some type of organic horn- i.e; rock or living wood or even gemstones, but this is rare and only happens occasionally.
------- Family Relations
Sproutlings are the smaller cousins to Rainbow Paint Wolves and can often be seen close to their kind. Sproutlings will usually stick to their own kind however it had been recorded that a Sproutling can be found living with a Rainbow Paint Wolf, it is currently unknown if they can breed or produce offspring. It is also unknown if a Rainbow Paint Wolf will chose a Sproutling for a mate.
------- Enemies
Sproutlings worst enemy is the Equinox Rex, Rex tend to travel in herds and will eat their garden's and forest life for that reason Sproutlings tend to try and ward them away without picking a fight. Though Sproutlings are not hostile they still do not like the Rex.
------- Mate information
Sproutlings don't have to take a mate for life. Some will do that because their bond is very special and will stay with that mate for life. However during mating season Sproutlings travel back to the forest in which it was born into and will attract a mate by making a garden. A mate attracted to the Garden will settle down with them and usually they will have 1-2 pups that will live in their nest until they are old enough to be on their own. The Sproutlings will usually go their separate ways after that leaving their mating grounds until next year returning to their home forest.
