1x1 rpw roleplay ;; castor and mani

[wolf ;;]

Mani blinked her eyes, staying silent as he asked the question, but then she nodded. "Yeah." That's all she could really say. She then reached forward and touched it lightly - she was going to ask if he had made it...but she didn't have the time.

[hypnowave]

Thud. Castor briefly recalled Mani, walking closer to him in his cottage, but then he saw a blinding flash of white light and... he was here, alone, and it was morning. His home looked somewhat dimmer. There wasn't much else to say about it. He shook his head; the dream had ended. He was sure that Mani had experienced the dream too, since not just anyone could enter his dreamscape and talk to him the way she did.

[wolf ;;]

The white flash blinded Mani for a few seconds, before she was taken out of the dream. She was now on her floor, breathing heavily, the pain from the moon encounter coming back. She cringed, she was out of the dream, it had ended. She got to her feet, flinching. The pain was lasting longer - maybe some fresh air would help. She quickly walked out of her room, downstairs and then outside, avoiding any family member.

Castor rubbed his eyes and studied his surroundings. Seeing nothing new, he got up, walked outside, and washed his face with stream water. It refreshed him and woke him up some more, which was good. He drank some of the water too, then looked up. He wondered what to do today. He didn't quite feel like flying.

Mani glanced around - the air was helping slightly, but not a lot. It was morning, so she would have to wait until the night to see if the moon would hurt again. She wondered what she could do - she could just wonder around, but she felt lonely for some reason. She didn't have many friends to talk to - most of the people she met usually tried to woo her with cheesy pick up lines, which never worked of course. Maybe she could go into the forest and find Castor...?

Castor decided to wander on foot and let his thoughts guide him along. He thought of the dream he'd had last night, and wondered where Mani was. He didn't know why Seven was suddenly so in on getting him to 'get to know the world today' through Mani, but he didn't want to forget Seven himself in the process. He still missed the ghost.

Mani then began ti just...walk, she didn't know where, she didn't pay attention. Her head was filled with questions, most of them about the dream. It had been confusing, and why had Castor been there? Or rather, why had she been there? There was probably no way any of her questions would get answered, and she might not meet Castor for another while now, since he lived in the forest.

Castor eventually led himself in what felt like circles, his mind refused to register what he saw and he didn't feel the need to recognize his surroundings. Eventually he stumbled upon the roadside where he'd first met Mani, and the prospect of being there gave him a slight twinge of loneliness.

Mani flicked an ear and sighed, considering her options. She could wonder around alone or go to the forest and try to find Castor...he was a decent wolf, didn't annoy her like everyone else. She decided to go with the second choice. So she headed the way to the forest, eventually coming to the roadside where she had first met the winged wolf - which to her surprise, was also there.

Now, there was a thin line between getting surprised because you weren't expecting something and getting surprised because you were expecting it. Castor didn't know whether he felt the first or the second type of shock. He knew Mani would've wanted to see him, but he never had the certainty that she would be back so soon. Either way, he was pleased, although he didn't show it. He didn't want the awkwardness they got last time, being separated by a road. He hoped Mani would pass through. "Hello."
