Depending on the colors mostly^^
There are a lot of first gens floating around and if it has a nice/rare color combo, it would be worth more.

For some reason yes, first gens are sometimes seen as more valuable than dragons with a lineage.
Most likely it's just because they can reed with more dragons with the impossibility of crossing lineages.
Or it can be for roleplaying/game purposes. Or even just seen as a status thing.
But yes! That' pretty derg is a first gen. ;u;
I'd suggest keeping it, he's really pretty!
