i don't believe in "bad fantrolls" but i don't break those rules myself.
they're meant for fun, i mean sometimes they can ruin rps but other than that the people are just trying to have fun too. things like blood, personality, fashion and stuff and how nice they are isn't important to me. trolls with a lot of powers like "telepathic psionic rainbow drinkers" irks me. "SPESHUL SNOWFLAKE SOOO RARE AND THE STRONGEST ONE AROUND, NO LUSUS BORN GODTIER!one!!!1!" is also unacceptable, but other than that i do not mind to rp with black bloods, proud mutants, rust seadwellers and such.
i can see why people could get mad about those little things but
making fuschias and such like really. they are a canon blood color so why do people get their knickers in a bunch about that. (as long as they arent empresses though haha)
also some people get mad about people making jades. yes they are canonly "rare" but i'm not gonna waste time counting EVERY JADE BLOOD FANTROLL EVER MADE! oh gosh guys there's *insert number.* i can't make one!!
so yeah being laid back those sorta thing don't make me pissed. like i said fantrolls are meant to have fun with, and sometimes saying those things ruin people's fun and it is really degrading, even though i have no experiences like that.

Whenever I see a kind Seadweller, I mentally flip my desk.
As I would never do such things in real life to harm my precious Husktop.
I don't think that any fantroll is bad, but one SHOULD at least follow the basics for troll making, and you shouldn't make a character the second you get into the fandom; not a good plan. You should wait until clearing Hivebent in the actual webcomic, read through the troll wiki page on the MSPA, and review the canon characters for quick references, so you're not copying something that's already been made. Also, nice trolls aren't exactly... Common, I guess the correct word would be. Trolls are a warring race, and have a history of violence. And I'm not gonna go any farther with that.

What I hate with fantrolls is when they have relationships with canon characters. Well, sort of. This needs some explaining.

There are two kinds of relationships with canon characters:

When the person has roleplayed with that character and honestly believes that shipping them would make sense. This kind of thing I'm fine with. I ship my best friends fantroll with Sollux, so does she and the person who roleplays Sollux with her. Another one of my friends has a fantroll she ships (black) with Vriska, she's roleplayed with Vriska and this works.

But then there's the other type: Characters CREATED with the ship. If someone created a character and one of their aspects when they were created is 'Karkat is her matesprit,' then there's a problem. Even worse is when, instead of the ship being a minor aspect of them, they were entirely created for the purpose of shipping them with a canon character.

Worse still, is when people don't understand aspects of troll society, but make stuff anyway. Things like (I actually saw this) 'Karkat's little sister.'

Earlier, someone said they hated seadwellers without violet/fuchsia blood, and this kind of bothers me. I think mutants and things like that are often people's early fantrolls, from when they don't understand how to make good fantrolls yet. My best friends fantroll is a yellowblood seadweller because she thought that ANY blood coor could be a seadweller, but violet/fuchsiabloods couldn't be landwellers. SHe would change Slitca so she fit those rules, but she's to much of a seadweller to not be a seadweller, and to much of a lowblood to not be a lowblood. She wouldn't work as a violetblood or a landweller, she has to be a yellowblood seadweller. Technically, she is a mutant, and could be culled any time though.

soooo using that information i'd like to step into the topic, i do hope im not overstepping my bounds since ive just filled out my form and am not yet considered common around here i assume
but i think theres nothing wrong with a kind seadweller; of course it is proven that a majority of blood colors above and including gamzee's tend to be naturally.. rude would be the easiest way to put it. however, feferi isn't very rude; in fact, even though i finished homestuck a long while ago and cant remember too well, i only recall feferi being directly rude to eridan, and that wasnt even too rude, and the only reason she was being 'rude' was because of his hatred towards the landdwellers, who she believed to be her equals, species-wise. even though a kind seadweller is rare, (proven by the condy and meenah, who are far from similar to feferi) its not exactly impossible, if they have a different veiw as eridan; even if they do have similar views as him, (the landdwellers polluting the ocean, etc etc) it doesnt mean they cant be nice.
i apologize if im overstepping my bounds, being rude in any way, or if i am not automatically accepted and should not be saying such things. (however in a majority of fanclubs, people are free to post without being accepted, if just posting once or twice, so im just assuming.)
