Mani didn't believe what he said, but she didn't question him any longer. She then walked over, looking at the pouches he had found before nodding. "Yeah, those would be good to hold them."

[hypnowave]

[ aaaand now vitamin c. ]

Castor nodded, although he didn't exactly feel like going back outside to retrieve the pearls and stones. He looked at the ceiling of the house, then went to one wall where he saw a light switch that he turned on. The room lit up instantly, hurting Castor's eyes a bit.

[ugh, that reminds me that I have to go to the hospital tomorrow ;m; fun]

Mani blinked her eyes a few times as a light was turned on, and it took a few moments for her eyes to get used to the brightness. She then glanced outside - this might be a dream, but she was still wary.

Castor looked around, seeing all the souvenirs lined up on one shelf, brochures on a desk, and another door. He warily neared it, and turned the knob. He could retrieve the pearls later, surely.

[its just a check up sort of thing, a few blood tests]

Mani heard the sound of a door knob turning, and she glanced at Castor, seeing that he had found a door, and was about to open it. She walked over, flicking an ear. She wondered what could be in there.

[cx there are a whole group of people who want me to win him, I think my form is one of the only ones that were finished, too.]

[ ah, I see. ]

Castor sniffed and looked behind the door. It didn't look like anything in particular, just the same few trees that were a part of the forest that ringed the lake. But he wanted to see what was behind that anyway.

Mani watched Castor quietly, before she looked at the door. Would anything happen? She was partly curious, but still wary. If something did happen, what if it wasn't good?

Castor got through the door, and beckoned for Mani to come with him too. It didn't look like much, like he'd seen so before, but he still wanted to explore while he could.

Mani slowly walked through the door, her tail still, her ears perked as if she was alert. This was all weird, but now she would get to see more strange things...hopefully.

It all happened so fast that Castor barely had time to react. The scenery reanimated itself, and life began to burst forth throughout the lake. Everything dissolved except for him and Mani, and strangely, the two pouches fell into Castor's hold. One had pearls the other precious stones. And the colors mixed together like an artist mixing his paint, blue and gray and black swirling into one void, and settled down again, until Castor found himself and Mani in a sunny glade with little more than two treasured pouches.
