Purpleflower noticed that Clifftail and Seabreeze were talking and looking at her. She wonders if there is some kind of contest they have on love.

Clifftail laughed, "Well, she's open if you'd like, I'm still looking."

[Cradily]

Beechpaw's tail lashed once and that was it. She did not look pleased with this answer. Not at all. "Fine," she huffed. "Go."

(Do you still want Herringpaw to die? Beechpaw's going back with him btw, even though she said "Go." She just meant she wants him to go first and she'll follow. XD)

Seabreeze rolled his eyes. "Yeah, thanks, but I think I'm good," he laughed. Upon realizing that several cats were missing, he made his way to the head of the group to report to Tidestar. "Tidestar, we're missing some cats. Gingerpaw, Herringpaw, Beechpaw, Ripplestripe, and Mapleshadow aren't here." His gaze was full of concern for his lost Clanmates. Where could they be?

(Just to clear things up, Seabreeze really isn't interested in anyone atm. xD The whole "Tell Purpleflower you can't be with her because I'm in love with her" thing was just a plan he came up with to help Clifftail lol. But who knows, maybe he'll like her in the future, idk. We shall seeee.)

Foxtalon heard Seabreeze and called, "I think I scented Maplebreeze and Ripplestripe on my way back to camp. Should I go follow their trail, and see if I could find the apprentices on the way?"

[..comet..]

Ripplestripe knew she was right. "We need to find dry ground," he told her. "And our Clanmates. Come this way." Quickly but carefully, he began to weave his way through the branches and leap from tree to tree, all the while keeping his senses alert for where their Clanmates were and where the water wasn't.

Mapleshadow followed Ripplestripe through the branches best she could, but her poor tree climbing still lingered in her mind and made her feel unsteady. As she jumped from tree to tree, she kept feeling her back legs slip of the branch for a second, but she quickly pulled them up and just gripped the branch tighter with her claws. "I figure Tidestar must have gotten most of the clan out by now. No use in going back to camp." She called to Ripplestripe, preparing to jump forward onto a different tree.

Salmonfall trudged beside Cornfur and Blitzpaw. Comfortingly, she gave her apprentice's ear a lick. "It'll be alright." She promised Blitzpaw. She turned to Cornfur, her soaking pelt brushing his every so often. The she-cat gently tilted her head so it rested next to Cornfur's comfortably as she walked. Salmonfall straightened herself up again, unsure of what the tom thought of that.

Cornfur felt himself grow nervous again as Salmonfall laid her head on his shoulder. He called out a quick 'here' in response to the roll call. After walking in silence for a while, he stole a quick glance at Salmonfall and even dared to let his tail rub against hers a few times.

[Cradily]

"Well...Tidestar? What do you think?" Seabreeze looked to his leader to see if she would give the OK.

"I suppose you're right," Ripplestripe said. He had slowed down a bit to allow Mapleshadow to catch up, but still seemed to be moving rather hastily. "Can you smell them?" he asked with his nose in the air.

(...Except maybe he has a teeny tiny crush on her and thinks she's kinda pretty but still doesn't really want a mate and that's all. *lolyayforcontradictionsoops)*

Foxtalon passed Speckledkit over to Stormfeather. He knew the elder would be fine, he was still very sure on his paws and fairly strong, even in his aging state.

"Alright!" Tigerfang called in agreement.

Copperberry shivered and shook as she padded along. "StarClan...T-this is almost worse than leaf-bare."

Mapleshadow put her nose in the air. Up in the trees, the winds moved faster, but they didn't change direction as much, which made it easier to scent things. "Faintly," She replied. "Tidestar is either heading towards the hills or to Cherryclan territory. She could be going to ask Cherrystar for help."
