Dear Waffles,
Mist, Hope, Petal, and I all met at the mall 10 minutes later.. The Halloween costume store, which was called Spooky's Spooky Costumes and Decor was in the front. The store had billions of things, ranging from witch costumes to fake ghosts. At the counter they had some pens that could write in about 20 colors, and I bought one. That's why the colors keep changing. :)

After looking around, I decided to be a demond for Halloween. These are the items I bought:



These were the costumes my friends bought.

This is the ghost hoodie.

These are mini ghosts. They came in a pack of 4.

So these are our costumes. The lady at the counter gave us a discount. We could get the number of costumes we bought (4) divide it by 2, and we got that many free decorations. 4÷2=2, so we got to chose 2 decorations for free! These are the ones we got. I also bought a multicolor pen. (I love switching the colors!)

After we paid for our things, we thanked the shopkeeper and went home. I would put a picture of her in here, but I ran out of tape. Tomorrow I'll go buy some more.

Dear Waffles,
It's Monday. Ugh. Mondays are the worst day of the week. Everything goes wrong on Mondays. Want proof? Here is what has happened to me so far today.

The Terrible things Monday has done to me so far

3:09 AM - Thunder wakes me up. I'm a light sleeper. I fall asleep again at 3:24.

7:55 AM - This conversation.
Mom (who is currently downstairs): COAL? ARE YOU STILL IN BED?
Me (who is currently half asleep and in my room upstairs): Uh... Yes...?
Mom (who is now halfway up the stairs): WHY ARE YOU STILL IN BED? IT'S 7:55!
Me (who snapped when I heard the words 7:55): 8:00?! WHAT?! I'M GOING TO BE LATE! I swear I turned on my alarm clock... Maybe Monday used it's "bad luck magic" and turned it off.
Mom (who has reached the second floor of our house, and is walking towards my room): What did you say, sweetheart? I heard something about magic. Well, you better stop thinking about magic and get ready for school. Skyscraper already left. And it's 7:55, not 8:00. Wait, never mind. It's 7:56 now.

My mom is very punctual. If it was 7:59 and you said it was 8:00, she would still correct you.
I get ready really slow. I'll probably be ready for school at 8:20. And it takes about 8 minutes to get to school, so I'll be there at 8:28. And school starts at 8:00. Skyscraper is lucky. His school doesn't mark you down on your report card for being late.

8:29 AM - I am late for math class. I already have a bad grade in math so why do I have to be late and make it worse? (As of 8:29, it is B- ) I also get 30 minutes of detention.

8:31 AM - Pop quiz. I stink at pop quizzes. (My math grade is now C+)

9:18 AM - I accidentally spill bleach on my fur during science. It will take at least a week for me to shed it off.

11:50 AM - My writing teacher makes us read our poems out loud. 43% boring, 49% embarrassing. Wait- it was 43% boring and 47% embarrassing. This is why I am failing in math.

12:15 PM - I accidentally step on Photo's paw on the way to lunch.

12:16 PM to 12:45 PM - I left my lunch at home, so I have nothing to eat except a bag of chips I got from the vending machine. I didn't have enough money to buy lunch. Petal offered me her sandwich, but I didn't want to eat it because I didn't want her to have no lunch.

12:50 PM - I forgot to put my gym clothes in my backpack, so I have to run a lap around the track. I also get marked down on my report card. (My Phys Ed grade is now B. I'm not athletic.)

1: 44 PM - BerryBloom, the girl who sits next to me, took my multicolor pen. I can only write in blue and black now. (QUICK AUTHOR'S NOTE: Conversations and emails are still written in the character's color, though)

That's all the things Monday has brought upon me. (So far.)

I am sitting through my foreign language class now. Learning to speak Cat is so hard! Our teacher, Mrs. Steamfur is really strict. This is her. (By the way, I got more tape! Yay!)

School ends at 2:30. I'm watching the clock. It's 2:27. I know I'm stuck in detention until 3:00, but I don't think I can stand another second trying to learn to speak Cat. These are two entries from the Cat dictionary that I'm studying. The examples are pretty much useless, since I can't read any of the words.

For some reason in school people call her Bob Snowflake Who Draws, since she likes to doodle in boring classes like math. She is a trial student which means she will only stay once or twice a week, since she attends Elementals, another school.

Dear Waffles,
There has been a new addition to the Barkmore family! Meet Snowy Barkmore, the cloud bunny! This is her.

This is how we got her.
It was still Monday and it was raining pouring outside. My whole family (Except for Shimmer, who is at Wolfia Tech (Wolfia Technical Institute)) and I were walking back to our house, since we went out to eat. We pass by the Canineopolis Animal Shelter. Then we decide to have a look inside.
There were lots of animals there. We were looking around when suddenly, a small cloud whizzed past our heads. Then, it turned around and flew by again. It did this for about a minute, then the cloud hovered in front of me. A little bunny peeked out and sniffed my nose.
Me: Aww...! It's so cute! Just look at those floppy little ears... and those cute little eyes... Can we adopt him?
Dad: Are you sure? Pets are a lot of work, you know.
Mom: Come on, Alpha. It will teach her how to be responsible, and give her experience on care of living things.
Me: Yeah! Responsibility... and stuff! How about the majority wins.
Skyscraper: Well then we have a pet! Can we name it Bone Breaker?
Me: No.
Skyscraper: What about Monster Claws?
Me: No.
Skyscraper: What about Deadly Bunny?
Me: NO! How about Snowy?
Mom and Dad: Sure!
Dad: That sounds so much better than Bone Breaker.
The adoption center worker said that Snowy was a cloud bunny, a bunny that lives and flies on a cloud. We adopted it and brought it home. Maybe Mondays can be nice after all.

The next day I brought her to school. Bringing pets to school is allowed at Canineopolis High, and lots of students do it. Snowy was flying around at lunch when she crashed into someone.

Her name is Leah. She is a trial student at Canineopolis High, so she is only at school here once or twice a week. She brings her pet, Belle to school. When Snowy crashed into Belle, she fell off of Leah's tail.
Me: Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!
Leah: Its ok! Is this your bunny?
She picks up Snowy from the floor
Me: Yeah. Her name is Snowy. She's kinda crazy.
Leah: No kidding.
Me: Leah, do you want to sit with us today?
Leah: Sure! Thanks!

So Leah sat with my little group of friends today. It turns out we have a lot in common with each other. We are both new to the school, love to draw, and like the color blue. She will be at Elementals, her main school, for the rest of this week, but she gave me her phone number so we can text each other.

The dance is on October 31st, from 6:00-8:00. Why come to the dance?
There will be:
‣ DJ Beats, the most popular DJ in Wolfia! (The state)
‣ Food and snacks, including pizza, chips, and punch!
‣ Games, such as bobbing for apples!
‣ A photo booth!
‣ And let but not least, the annual costume contest!

There are 2 contests, the normal contest and the couples contest. The normal contest is just you by yourself, and the couples contest of when you and your boy/girl friend wear matching costumes. The students will vote for their favorite costume and favorite couple costume during the dance. The voting slips are due by 7:00, and the winners will be announced at 7:30. Good luck!
Prizes
Each winner gets the prize of the place they got. So if you got 1st place and you are in couples, both you and your boy/girl friend get a gift card.
1st prize: $20 Woof Mart gift card
2nd prize: $10 Woof Mart gift card
3rd prize: an extra large bag of candy

Tickets cost 5$ each. Only Canineopolis High students may purchase tickets. Tickets will be sold October 29-October 31.

Most girls would go "Yay!" or "I love dancing!" or "This is so exciting!", but right now, I'm thinking "I'd rather watch all six movies of SpaceWars in a row (only stopping to eat and use the bathroom) than go to a dance. Eww."
