Jay thought for a moment before responding. "Well... besides the life force thing, we're immortal and we can only die the way we died as a human I've heard." He said. Quietly, to himself, Jay added, "I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing."

"That's pretty cool. How did you die?", she asks and puts her hands in her pockets. They were pretty high up, and it was cold.

"I was driving and my car fell off the bridge... I drowned." He frowned as he spoke. "That leaves me with a huge phobia of water. I can barely get near it anymore."

"Yeah. I have never really been a swimming person..", she says, and pulls her hoodie up over her head.

Jay landed on the roof of a building gracefully. "I hate flying. It's a reminder of what I am. A dark Angel, I mean."

[fbbsy]

Serae landed next to him and sat with her legs crossed dangling off the edge of the building, her arms behind her holding her up. She folded her wings in. "Yeah. I don't like being a Dark Angel either, but the flying part is pretty cool", she says and sighs. "I just wish that we didn't have to take in human life force in order to survive..."

"Same," he nodded, staring blankly into the city. "I hate that what I am turned me into a killer," he said bitterly.

"Yes, well, at least we don't have to take all of their life force at once", Serae says and then adds on bitterly: "Someday the life force from all of the humans will be gone and the Dark Angels will die."

"The problem with me is once I start feeding on life force I can't stop," Jay admitted.

"Yeah, me too", Serae says and shamefully thinks of Ash.
