you can start.... i made a huge ass post and then my interent died and i don't want to re-write it right now so i'll post later, if anyone is coming to Rose wood, Anna and Elijah are on the track.

Nah, there would be if we were all at the same ranch, but your post is your opening post c:))
(also just put what your people are doing at their stable c: there is a race in a few weeks, but everyone knows each other (unless you don't want your character two) so theres no bad blood or anything. so yeah you can have relationships, might just be a while)


Anna Rose Stacey

Anna watched as her Jockey, Elijah, went around on Happy nights son, Lucky Charm. Anna frowned and called him in. "What are you doing? why is he going so slow?" she frowned
"Just thought I'd try something different Miss-" elijah began, but Anna quickly cut him off,
"Did I tell you to try something different, go back to how we normally do it." she mumbled and then timed him. As he went round she smiled "that's better, now bring him back and give him a wash" She called out and then went to tend to Happy Night who had two Stud duties today, and so she led him to the two mares. Smiling at him she stroked him and calmed him down as he grew a little pushy she slapped his neck as he reared. "Settle" She muttered and took him to the first mare. Letting him cover her. -fade- and then the second mare.

Happy night squealed as the two mares came into view, ears pinned he yanked on the lead and reared up but followed his owner to the mares, ears lightly pinned back. Snorting the stallion looked at the first mare, a chestnut with two stockings and a small star. -fade- ears pinned he squealed as he was pulled away from the mare who was hobbled and tied up to the second mare who was hobbled and held by her owner. -fade-. Ears pinned Happy night pulled back as he spotted his son go past, ears pinned he pulled lose the rope and charged the fence, lucky he couldn't get Lucky Charm, the colt wouldn't last a chance. As the colt dissapeared into the stables and the mares left, The stallion relaxed and was set free into one of the pastures with two younger colts.

Elijah Scotts

Elijah sighed at Anna but nodded and looked away before moving on to the stables, easily controling the calm colt as his father threatened him. Elijah lead the colt into the wash bay by the where he hosed him off, with soap and sponges. He wshed him with the hose between his tail and under his legs careful when the colt pinned his ears and squealed softly. He frowned and then threw a summer sheet onto the stallion and put him in his stall with a feed.

Tessa Blackthorn & Tom Bryant

Tessa was sitting in the barn with her jockey Tom. Tessa was worried that she can’t find a new place to live in time. Her family’s stable was being sold off because they were in debt with the bank. Tessa was worried Petra will have nowhere to live during racing season. Tessa had decided to call Anna to ask if there is space for her to stay at her stud.

Tom called the stud and waited as the phone rang.


Maestoso Petra

Petra grazed quietly under a tree.

Elijah looked to Anna who was busy and looked at the house, sighing he pulled his boot back on and made his way to the house. He walked into the house looking at the border collie who came at him "not now Oscar" he murmured as he answered the phone "Hello, Rose wood stud, Elijah Speaking" he asked as he gave the Dog some kibble.

"Hello Elijah, this is Tom. I was wondering if your stud still has boarding openings. Tessa's stable is being sold off and we need somewhere to stay for a while. It's just me, Tessa, and Maestoso Petra the horse. We would love to stay there." Tom explained. Tessa was grooming Petra at the moment.

Elijah scratched the top of his skull "Hello, I'm not actually sure, I'll have to check with Anna, she's just come in." as anna walked in he spoke "Anna, you know Tessa and tom? They're ranch is being taken from th-" As Anna nodded he smiled and spoke "Hey tom, Anna Said okay, we've got 5 rooms out the back" The only reason Rosewood had so many rooms was because their house was a massive mansion. They had 4 stables, one for mares, one for mares and their foals, one for the stallions another for geldings, they also had 2 outside stables and about 80 paddocks. They needed it they had so many other brood mares (not on the front page) HE waited patiently, for tom's reply.

Tessa walked in and heard what Elijah had said on the phone. She immediately snatched the phone from Tom's hands and said, "Thank you so much! We'll be there in a few hours." Tessa did her snoopy happy dance and hugged Tom.

Tessa and Tom packed up their very few clothes and items in suitcases. Tessa went to the tack room and took all the tack there, which was mostly brand new halters and bridles that were never used and a few saddles and her racing items. She packed the new halters and bridles that they don't need in a box, and threw them all into their pickup truck. Tom got Petra in the trailer and packed the two bags of oats and feed for Petra. They got in the car and arrived at Rosewood Stud in no time.

Tessa jumped out before the car stopped and ran to Anna giving her a hug and said, "Thanks, Anna! You're a life saver! Do you mind if we know where Petra would be staying first?" Tessa asked happily. "Oh and one sec." Tessa ran to get the box and continued, "Here are some brand new halters and bridles. We bought them but never got to use them, so we thought since you have so many horses you might want them."
