Alright another story I made up. (A little better than the first)
There once was a 12 year old girl named Lily who had a 4 year old little sister. Her name was Rose. Their parents worked late at night. Their Mom usually came home at night to give Rose a bath, and help her to bed. One night she couldn't. Lily was coloring in a coloring book with Rose when the phone rang. It was Mom. "Lily, tonight I can't come home and give Rose a bath. You have to do it. Remember, keep the temperature nice and DON'T leave the bath room!" "I will mother." Lily hung up and explained to Rose. So they went upstairs. Lily made sure the temperature was fine and helped Rose in. Rose said Thank you and played with her duck. Just then, Lily heard her cell phone ring. Forgetting her promise not to leave the bath room, she went to grab her phone. She began to text her friends.At least 10 minutes later, Lily remembered. She raced to the bath room. The tub was overflowing. She screamed. Rose was floating lifelessly in the tub and on the wall written in blood with a few misspelled letters was, WHY DID YOU LEAVE
I creeped myself out with this one I made up. :shock:

I have again searched and found some worthy stories-

One night I was lying in bed wondering about this guy. I dozed off and had a bad dream. In my dream I was lying on my bed and I heard this noise. I thought it was my cat, but it turns out it wasn't. The sound was coming from outside. I looked out my window to see a man with a dark mask over his head.

He was staring at me and he kept saying till death, til death. I was like what the heck. So, I ran to my mom's room. But, her window was wide open and she was lying on the ground breathing slowly. She had been stabbed! I started screaming and crying hysterically. Before she ran out of breath and died, she whispered to me to kill the man. Horrified and angry I told her I would.

I worked my nerve up to go back to my room. Before I walked back I went to the kitchen and grabbed a large knife. I decided to fulfill my mom's last request. I ran to my room and found the guy there. He said, "Now it's your turn!" Without hesitating, I ran up to him and stabbed him in the chest. At first I thought "Yes he's dead, I've won one for my mom. But then he started walking towards me and stabbed me.

Eventually I woke up. I found myself in a hospital bed and my aunt was by me. She said, "I thought you'd never wake up. You were in a coma." I looked down at my chest to find a large wound that looked like it was from a knife. Then I realized my dream wasn't just a dream! I yelled to the my aunt, "Where's my MOM!!" My Aunt had tears running down her cheeks and said, " Honey, your mom died a month ago when this all happened."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There lived a rich family of three people. A father, the mother, and their baby son. Everything was perfect in their lives except for one thing; their son. Their boy was a deformed child from birth, and everybody was scared of the boy. He simply appeared hideous and it made people feel uncomfortable, just to see him. People even criticized the parents about the boy, feeling no love for it at all.
One day the parents couldn't stand the trouble and embarrasment of their son any longer, so they decided to go to the cliff at the edge of the road and drop him out into the deep sea.
After they threw out the boy, they couldn't ignore the fact that they had just killed their only child; so they decided to have another baby.
Nine months later, out comes a baby; and it turns out to be another boy. And he turns out perfect in every apparent way.
They were so happy that they finally had a son that they could brag about and show to their friends and families. A few years later, the boy continues to grow up as a healthy and intelligent child.
So one day they decide to take a family picture out by the cliff. As soon as
they get out of the car, the boy comes to his mom and dad, grabs them by the arm and says,"Mommy, Daddy, you're not
going to throw me off the cliff again, are you?"
***This one wasn't to scary, but more of a 'wow...These parents sure weren't responsible' kinda thing...
A girl, named Ashley, sat alone in her apartment, bored. She was unemployed and she couldn't pay the bills with the little money she had left. Her TV was broken, and none of her friends were online, so she had nothing to watch and no one to talk to. Suddenly, she had an idea. She went to her email and started typing this:
"Long ago, there lived a little girl in a small town that was at the foot of a mountain. She was very shy and awkward and had no friends. Her hair always hung in front of her face, which gave her a strange appearance; which made the villagers dislike her more.
One day, on her way home, all the children in the town cornered her while she was walking. They started throwing rocks at her and calling her names. But the children suddenly stopped, because the little girl raised her arm up and pointed to one of the boys. "You will die in 3 days" she said. The kids got scared and ran off screaming.
Three days later, the boy unexpectedly started vomiting blood. He died before he reached the hospital. Soon, the little girl started announcing more of the villager's deaths, and they would all die on the predicted date. A wave of panic and fear swept over the town. So, the remaining villagers had a meeting in the town hall. After an hour, they had finally decided...
THE NEXT DAY...
The young men in the village led the little girl into the mine, and as soon as they were out of sight, they grabbed her and led her into a secret chamber. They tied her arms, chest and legs to a chair, and one of the men got out a sewing needle. He then grabbed her lips and started sewing them together, so she could never foretell another death. Then they left her in the chamber and sealed the mine forever...
If you don't want the little girl to appear by your bed tonight, send this to 12 people, and the sender. If you don't, she will appear by your bed tonight, with a needle in her hand..."
Ashley smirked to herself and hit the send button. The next day, she received 12 emails from her friends. All were the same chain letter she had sent. She saw them and laughed to herself. "I can't believe they actually believe it. Pathetic!" She logged off her computer, laughing aloud to herself. Then she brushed her teeth and went to bed. But in the middle of the night, she woke up with a cold sweat. She heard a girly giggle in the corner, but no one was there, so she turned to go back to sleep. And then standing there was a little girl with long black hair covering her face. She looked at Ashley with her cold grey eyes and her hands were behind her back. Her face slowly broke into a mischevious smile, and she revealed her arms from behind her back and started giggling. In her hand, was a needle...
This is a story about two brothers. Mark and David were two brothers that grew up together always looking out for each other. Mark was the older one and he would always take David out and buy him goodies. Time went on and Mark was 21 years old while David was turning 18. It was David's 18th birthday so the two of them decided to go to a bar and have a couple drinks and then call it a night. After drinking, the two of them started heading home when out of nowhere Mark's car spun out of control and hit a tree that was on the side of the road.
Mark was unharmed with only a minor headache while David was next to him crying and saying that his legs were hurting a lot. So Mark called an ambulance and rushed his brother to the hospital.
After a couple days, the doctor told Mark and his family that David was going to be paralyzed from the waist down. It was painful for everyone and Mark felt a rush of guilt flowing through his body.
The next year rolls on and its David's 19th birthday, so the family decide to take David and all his friends to the beach. They have a wonderful time eating lunch and relaxing enjoying the summer breeze. David said that he wanted to be alone for a little while so he slow took off on his wheelchair along the side.
The family continued on enjoying their day, making sure David didn't wander off too far. All of a sudden they see a guy dancing on the sand coming towards them. They look even closer and its David miraculously dancing with joy. With tears of happiness David's mom takes out her camera while his friends start filming on there own digital cameras. All of a sudden, David dropped to the sand.
A week goes by and everyone is still talking about how David's reactions were a miracle. So his mom finally gets the film developed and brings them home to show his family. She opens up the folder and screams in horror. She drops the pictures and runs out of the house. Mark tries to follow his mom but decides to see what the problem was. When he looked at the picture he became as stiff as a tree. It was a picture of his brother dancing in the sand but the weird thing was that there was two hands above his head as if he were a puppet to someone or something...The End.
It was October 13, close to Halloween, and some boys about 12 years old were playing near a playground.
"Hey, guys, how about we get in the Halloween spirit and actually go to the playground?" One of the boys, Tim, asked.
"Are you kidding? You know that "its" supposed to live there in October!" A different boy, Josh, said.
There was a legend in this town that in October, this particular playground was supposed to be haunted by something. Nobody knew exactly what, but people claimed that "it" had killed a group of girls playing there in October.
"Well, whatever, if you guys wanna be babies, then go ahead, but I'm going in." Tim said.
They watched him climb up the ladder to the tree house-like top. They heard him start laughing, but about a minute later he stopped. They stared, waiting to see what happened, for about five minutes, when suddenly one of them yelled, "Look!"
They all turned to where he was pointing, and at the bottom of the tunnel slide they saw blood draining out of the bottom. They all started screaming and ran away. Later they got together and swore not to tell anyone what happened.
"Someone has to go and clean it up, before anyone else sees it." Josh said.
"What?!" they all yelled at once.
"Well, Cody, you're his best friend, you should do it." Will said.
At first Cody declined, but eventually they convinced him to do it. When he got there, he took a rag and started wiping up the blood. Unfortunately, he had to go at night so nobody could see him, because they'd think he had killed Tim. As Cody wiped it up, he remembered what his friends said, "Whatever you do, don't look up the slide." they had warned.
He tried not to, but eventually he couldn't resist it anymore and looked up. He immediately puked at what he saw. It was horrible and it was his own best friend. He then decided that he would kill whatever did this to him, so he slowly walked up the ladder. As he reached the top, he took one look and, again, threw up. There was a decaying body, covered in maggots, perched up against the wall. He looked down to find a piece of paper, and written in blood it said,
"Don't take a dare, don't come after them, don't look for thrills, don't disturb the dead, don't come up here,
The last person to."
As he finished the note something grabbed his ankle and tried to pull him down the slide, but he held to one slide, and the other hand easily split him in half.
" Don't take a dare, don't come after them, don't look for thrills, don't disturb the dead, don't come up here." he heard the body that was purched against the wall whisper before he died.
"Happy Friday the 13th."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It’s been thirty years ago but it seems almost like yesterday. I knew there was going to be trouble that Saturday night. You could feel it in the cool muggy air. It felt like a ghost was trying to strangle me just like the phantom that had choked the life out of the engine around midnight.

The car had come to rest next to a big oak tree and my boyfriend worked on it for an hour before giving up hope. When he spoke of going for help, I protested. It was one o’clock in the morning, dark, and terrifying. We were stranded on an old dirt road, which was located about eighteen miles in the middle of nowhere. It was supposed to have been a short cut but turned into a never-ending journey.

The moon was full and had an eerie glow that forced its way through the clouds and crept through the spooky trees in slow pale streams. There was a light fog that hovered above the ground and made the long winding road turn from brownish-red to grey and then fade into eternal darkness.
“There’s a house not much further down the road. It won’t take half an hour to walk there. I’ll use the phone and come right back,” Roger insisted.
“I’m scared.”
“Scared of what?”
“This old abandon dirt road, the darkness, and most of all those creepy looking woods.”
“It will be alright,” he assured me, “Just get in the backseat, lock the doors, and cover up with the blanket. When I get back, I’ll knock on the window three times so you’ll know it’s me.”

I didn’t like it but I couldn’t stop him. Roger was six-foot-three and weighted two-forty-five. His shadowy figure was large in the moonlight but looked disfigured as he entered the fog and was soon swallowed by the vastness of the night.
I locked the doors, wrapped up in the blanket, and laid down in the backseat. There was the sound of thunder in the distance but I didn’t take it seriously because it hadn’t rained in six weeks, so why should it now?
The moon went behind the clouds for good making it impossibly black. I was tired and dozed off but was awaken when the car shook. Was Roger already back? If so, he hadn’t knocked. I sat with the blanket at my chin and listened closely. There was a small cracking sound like a tree falling somewhere deep in the forest. I thought I heard something slither across the roof. A moment later, there was a loud explosion above the car as the thunder rolled across the sky.

The first rain drop hit the back window at two-fifteen that morning. The droplet was fat and oozed down the glass like molasses. I knew why Roger hadn’t come back. He’d stayed at the house up the road because the storm was coming from that direction.

The slithering thing made its way across the roof again, which made me cringe. It stopped but soon headed back the other way. This time it sounded like claws scratching the top of the car. Who was out there? Better yet, what was out there?
I remained bundled up flat on the seat as the rain started to fall. The thunder rumbled and the lightning flashed. That’s when I saw it! The thing, it, was standing beside the car. The monster cast a huge shadow across the seat when the next silver bolt blazed diagonally towards the ground. My whole body began to quiver and my heart pounded its way into my throat.
The monster slithered its fingers across the roof and then scratched its claws back again. It wanted me to scream but I couldn’t. My voice had committed suicide. I knew this was the end. I was going to die while Roger was nice and cozy in the warmth of a friendly house just a few miles down the road.

The gusting wind howled. A second later, it seemed as if a flashbulb went off inside the car. I looked up in time to see a jagged bolt of lightning streak across the sky. That was when I saw its deep grooved face peering in the window at me.
“It couldn’t be,” I whispered. But, it was. The gray ridged face staring at me was nothing but the big oak tree the car had stopped beside. Its branches had obviously been scraping and scratching the roof all night. I exhaled in relief and fell back to sleep.

I was awaken by three knocks that morning and looked up. It was a policeman, not Roger. The rain had stopped and the sun was shining bright.
“Ma’am, are you alright?”
“Yes,” I answered.
“If you’ll come with me, I’ll carry you home.”
“Gladly,” I said. The anger hit me as I opened the door. Roger had left me here all night. Did he think that was funny?
As we neared the patrol car it dawned on me I’d forgotten something. “My purse,” I whispered. The officer grabbed my upper arm with his strong firm hand but not before I turned, saw it, and…
Screamed!
A body was hanging upside down above the car with a rope tied around the ankles and attached to a branch from the oak tree beside the car. Two pale white hands dangled loosely touching the top of the car just as they had throughout the night and scraping the roof every time the wind blew. The thick drops of blood had dissolved into a red hazy film on the back window and somewhere around the shirt collar was a bloody stain where Roger’s head had been.

Re: Scary stories (dont read if you are easily scared)

All of these are from http://www.creepypasta.com - I own none of them!

It’s your first night in your new apartment. Your stuff is still in boxes. Your furniture (with the exception of the mattress on the floor) hasn’t arrived yet. The utilities won’t be turned on until the next day, so you’re making due without. A flashlight and some candles will do for light until you go to sleep. Despite the creepy feeling of being in a dark, empty apartment all alone; you chalk it up to nervousness and try to get some sleep.

A sound wakes you up. You lay there for a moment, waiting to decide if it was real or just your imagination being too loud. When the sound happens again, you check your cell for the time. Two in the morning. You get up, using your cellphone for light, and make your way towards the kitchen; the apparent source of the noises. At first, you think somebody has broken into your apartment, but you choke down your reaction as you stare at the figure. It is a middle-aged man, wearing what amounted to striped pajamas and standing in front of the microwave with his back to you. Although seemingly solid, you can also see through his body. You’re paralyzed; mostly out of fear, but partly out of curiosity.

“Hey,” you finally manage to say. The man looks in your direction, turning slowly. Your eyes open wide as you realize the man has no lower jaw, letting his tongue hang free. Your vision loses focus and the apparition disappears.

A sound wakes you up. It’s your phone vibrating against the floor. It’s morning, or at least light is coming in through the window. You’re back on your mattress and the missed call is from your mother. You’re confused about the night before and still shaking from the experience of what you saw. Was it a dream or did you really see a ghost?

-------------------------------------------------------

I used to use the computer a lot. I would stay up late just surfing the web, playing games I’d beaten long ago. I guess it became an obsession. It got so bad that I would stay up till midnight just doing nothing. I tried to stop. Sometimes I could manage to go to sleep early, but lately I’ve never been in bed before eleven.

It’s weird, I never feel like this during the day. I can handle not being on the computer in the morning. I get lots of stuff done; cleaning up, studying, pretty much being a productive person.
But now things have gotten worse.

I started feeling really bad after going to sleep. It would hit me while I was on the computer that my eyes were really burning. Only when they started tearing up would my gaze be broken from the screen and realize I hadn’t been blinking. Weirder things started happening when I blinked too.

It started out harmless. Web pages would load real slowly. My mouse would freeze. Programs would start ending randomly. Nothing actually out of the ordinary. I would just refresh the page, reconnect the mouse, and press end now.

But it got worse.

I got on the computer one night to find it was completely shut down. I always suspend the computer when I log off, so this struck me as odd. When it started up again, it entered safe mode. After fiddling with the settings, I finally got it working again. For maybe two weeks things went on without a fuss.
I was browsing a blog, just slowly reading and scrolling down when a picture showed up. It was one of those awful pictures of a dead body, like, someone who had been in a car crash or explosion. It wasn’t a pop-up or anything. It was part of the blog. I was a bit concerned, the blog made no mention of this and had never used pictures before. I scrolled down so the picture was gone, and the blog continued like nothing strange was up.

I stopped going on the blog eventually. More and more gruesome pictures were showing up. I commented on one entry about it and was met with confusion. No one else was complaining. I wrote it off as some in joke to get rid of all the noobs.

Other sites I frequent are taking up this shock picture trick. It’s becoming a real pain. I’m starting to fear clicking on every link.

I closed internet explorer today to find my background had been changed to another horrible photo. I couldn’t help but recognize this one. It was one I saw in drivers’ ed of a particularly gruesome drunk driving incident. After resetting my background, deleting the picture I had apparently saved to my hard drive, cleaning up and defragging my hard drive, I opened the recycling bin to get rid of it once and for all.

I was a bit stunned. My bin was full of all sorts of random things I knew I never saved. There were porn sites, illegal downloads, pictures, e-mails, and other files with extensions I wasn’t familiar with. I cleared them all and decided I get some outside help.

I started looking online for any similar incidents. With no results I called Geek Squad, my Dad, and even brought the computer in to major dealers for a check-up. One large bill later, no problems were detected. Most even commented on how well kept the computer was.

The pictures stopped appearing, but I almost wish they were still the problem. My computer now displays everything almost as it should be. But now, whenever a person is displayed, their eyes are gouged out. It looked like a crappy Paint job at first, but they became more and more real. I tried showing it to a friend, but the computer worked fine when he was around.

I finally let my friend have the computer. He always commented on what a great machine it was when he was over. I’m glad to be done with it. I had just bought a much more updated one and after starting it up, I was very happy to see everything working normally. I decided not transfer all the data from my old computer to the new one.

Happy to be done with it, I close the brand new model. It’s only nine thirty and I turn on the television, knowing that I can get a good night sleep after Futurama. I lay back and turn up the volume to hear the opening theme. I recognize the unique little blurb they have, like what they do with the Simpsons; this is the infamous “dog” episode. I get ready to feel sad when my heart jumps.

Fry’s eyes are missing.

------------------------------------
I'll be back with more tomorrow. I do love me some creepy stories before bed.
