She started mewling, scared, she didn't have a mother and was trying to ind one (she was just a kit and didn't really understand very many concepts.

Speckledkit saw the kit and Snowfoot come in the nursery. "Who's that? Where's her mother?"

Spiderheart heaved a sigh of relief as he tailed after her. "Good thing you spotted her," he said to Snowfoot. "She might have been hurt if you hadn't." He then fell quiet and watched the she-cat and kits in silence.
