Years ago, the world was wrecked by war. The towns and cities are all in ruins. Luckily one place had the mind to build a city and protect it from the outside life. The city of Altiria is a large one surrounded by tall walls preventing anyone from entering, or leaving, the city. Children are taught that outside the walls are nothing but death, desert and danger. Inside the walls, however, is a life full of organised crime and fear. The king himself does not care for his people. No, he isn't a tyrant. He just doesn't care. So, enjoy your life, you won't have a long one.

"No... No, no, no, no!" A loud crash could be heard in the middle of the library. Having tried to return a book to the top shelf, Erin had fallen off of the ladder. Again. "Ow..." she muttered, sitting up and rubbing her head. Looking around, she groaned, realising that she now had even more books to return to the top shelf.

Erik chuckled, leaning back against the opposite shelf. "Need any help there?" the twin asked, tilting his head slightly.

"No, I'm perfectly fine. I don't need help," Erin replied, standing and dusting herself off. After gathering a couple books, she once again began to climb the ladder.

Clara jumped hearing the crash, so, she turned her head looking over at the girl on the floor shyly, 'what on earth was she doing?'. Clara was trying to steel some books to read, she didn't have a job, an id card she wasn't even on the books as being alive so she wasn't able to get books as others where.

She was now feeling a little spooked and worried she would get court and taken away, so she left with what she already had wich was only two of the 5 she had planed on taking. Making her way to the door quickly she didn't look where she was going so she ended up crashing into an older man, she fell back on the floor and the books went everywhere it was quite clear what she was going.

Shocked she looked at him for a few seconds which felt like for ever before getting up and bolting for the door trying to get away before anyone came to catch her....

"Damn these stupid ladders," Erin muttered, unsteadily reaching out to return on of the books.

Her twin snickered from below, turning to walk off. "I'm gonna get us some lunch," Erik called, waving over his shoulder as he walked. "Don't fall again!" However, the moment he stepped outside, he heard yet another crash.
