Clifftail nodded gratefully before making his way back into the den. "Psst, Seabreeze. I need your help, but promise me you won't start up with your mouse-brained shenanigans." He whispered to only Seabreeze.

Tidestar shifted herself so her back was up against the tree and so her body faced Foxtalon and the opening. She smiled at him, blinking away her tears. "You think?"

Herringpaw fixed with a look that seemed to say "are you crazy". "Of course I know how to swim, I'm a TideClan cat! And no, if you want me to swim in that." He responded, flicking his tail to the rushing water below them.

Salmonfall glanced at him, confused. "For what?" Suddenly she realized and nodded modestly, "Your welcome, its the least I could do. I know you care about her a lot."

Foxtalon smiled back. "Yeah. They'll be fine. We got out of it alright, so they will too."

"Thank you, and I hope so as well." Tidestar purred, her voice as smooth as silk. Her eyes focused on Foxtalon's before looking away into the rain.

He thought to himself for a moment longer, but then realized he was just sort of staring at Salmonfall, so Cornfur quickly looked forward and cleared his throat. "So yeah, we should probably get back to camp quickly. Because of the hurricane and stuff. Yeah." He said, feeling his ears turn slightly red, despite the freezing rain that had thoroughly soaked him.

Foxtalon smiled and looked outside. The rain was growing harder, and he was glad they had taken shelter.

Salmonfall noticed him staring and giggled, "I'm with you on that one." She playfully nudged him as she began to walk beside him. "Say, do you think we'll disrupt our clanmates as we get to our nests? I mean, look at us. We're soaked through."

Tidestar closed her eyes for a few moments before opening them, watching the cloud that would appear everytime she breathed. "Whoa, it's chilly." she commented, gently leaning again him. "Sorry, I could move if you'd like."

Foxtalon shook his head, scooching a little closer to her. "It's fine. I'm chilly too."

Cornfur laughed. "If there's a cat in the clan that isn't totally soaked, I'll be amazed. I swear there's more puddles in the Warriors den than the beach sometimes."
