Whoa! I seven foot corn? O.o That's almost unheard of. XD
I love scaleless texas rat snakes! I'm considering getting one of those as well, but then again I'm always wanting new snakes, lol.
I like ball pythons a lot, too, though they can sometimes be a pain to feed. They are such sweet snakes and so beautiful.

As for rainbow boas, they aren't terribly difficult to care for. You just have to watch the humidity- try using a substrate such as Eco Earth, Cypress mulch, etc. You can also mist the cage daily. They are usually good eaters. BRBS can be nippy as babies, but mine is perfectly tame. They get about 5-7' as adults and can be housed happily in a 2 x 4 foot cage. BRBS can be a tad more sensitive in temps than other species, try not to let the temperature exceed 85 degrees.

@Science; Sounds simple enough. Have to say, what a beautiful girl! Shes a stunner. My local pet store has some gorgeous friendly hatchlings; I've held them when I was considering purchasing one, and she wasn't nippy at all. c:

Back to BPs: I keep all my ball pythons on cypress mulch and mist them occasionally, so a Brazilian Rainbow Boa doesn't sound like too much work. I may end up with a brazilian rainbow boa instead of a scaleless ratsnake, because my research on the ratsnake so far proves them to be quite delicate. Its likely I'll just be getting ball python morphs instead, anyway. I've been admiring mid/high white piebalds and super stripes.
My tiny albino is on assist feeds right now, where I have to gently press open his jaws and rest the head of the f/t mouse on the tip of his jaws. Then he'll be like, "No no stop I don't want to eat- wait... this.. this is good." So he'll take it. I originally had to do the same with my juvenile pastel, but after 5 assist feeds, he eats better than any other snake I've owned. Cleo, on the other hand, is spoiled, stubborn, and very picky. She doesn't like live, prekilled, or frozen thawed rat or mice. She doesn't like live or prekilled African Soft Furred Rats either. The only thing she'll accept is live African Soft Furs. I'm in the process of trying to switch her to f/t rats, but its not looking like she'll do that any time soon.
Aside from that, the albino is opening up to me much faster than anticipated! Instead of curling into a tight ball and staying like that whenever I pick him up, he now quickly loosens and slithers around as if he always had. Its so nice to see him relaxed.

Pieds are, in my opinion, the COOLEST ball python morph ever!!!

Rainbow boas are awesome, If you do get one I'm sure you will enjoy keeping it.
I didn't think Texas ratsnakes were notoriously fragile, I'll have to research more.

Hey guys,
I may potentially be bringing home a blind grey banded king snake. A friend has been kicked out and needs placed for there reptiles to stay. I don't know the first thing about caring for this snake, especially with its blindness but I'm the only one he trusts with him.
does anyone have caresheets or anything?

I might be getting the tank for my 2 corn snakes soon c:
I decided its better to hold 2 corn snakes because a friend of mine who lived her whole life with snakes told me that corn snakes live in groups, so...yeah cx

Actually, it's really better to keep snakes of any species separate.
Not only is it easier to monitor health issues and feed them, there is less stress put on the animals. Also, nearly all species of snakes are solitary by nature and cannibalism can sometimes occur.
Sure, sometimes its fine to house snakes in groups, but personally I find it's a chance not worth taking.

The corn snakes she held alone in one tank died more soon than the ones she held together.
Corn snakes will also most likely not attack the other corn snake after what I've heard and seen.
I dont think you can call it wrong to hold snakes seperatly or together because it depends on the nature of the snake.
And everyone makes different experiences :3

I think that what science is saying is that most of the time. When housing two snakes together is causes stress and could result to cannibalism; better be safe then sorry
