Blackstar tasted the air and got the tang of a mouse. She sniffed and caught its stench. She crouched and slowly stalked it. Blackstar leaped into the air and pinned the mouse down. She grabbed it with her jaw and threw it onto the ground. She sunk her teeth into it's neck and died. Blackstar picked it up and started carrying it to the fresh-kill pile.
