Every time he heard some compliant in Italian, or just a jumble of both English and Italian, Ludwig couldn't help but laugh. Just a bit of laughter. Even though he wasn't the best at the game, it seemed like he was a little tiny bit better than Feliciano who was continuously crashing and burning. He wasn't even sure that the Italian was listening to him anymore, but Ludwig wasn't going to test his theory. He didn't want to say anything embarrassing that he might of end up catching.

Soon he was drawn into the game after just listening to Feliciano blabbing in frantic Italian, sticking his tongue out to the side to get in the zone. But after a couple of minutes of playing, Ludwig finally got his players past Feliciano's defense, pressing the 'B' key at the right time and sending the ball flying into the net. It was just a video game. Ludwig didn't seem to remember that as he jumped up from his seat, genuinely smiling. When he did notice that he had jumped up after watching the replay, Ludwig sat back down on to the couch, not bothering to move albeit they were sitting kind of close.

As the refs in the video game called halftime, Ludwig turned the shorter man next to him. "I'm sorry, I got wrapped up in the moment." He mumbled.

[ asdajskd good for you! I have *sob* work to do. ]
Eyes wide and sparkling with mirth, Feliciano stared at the mildly embarrassed German next to him. "You got so excited." Feliciano couldn't hide his grin as they made eye contact. "Don't apologize." Oh man, even if Feli had the competence to beat Lud, he didn't think he should. Ludwig was really into this. He didn't want to get in the way of that. The Italian got the feeling that he wasn't usually this unrestrained, even having known him for such a short time. He'd been so serious up to this point, but that was a wide, amazing smile he'd just seen. "You should play this all the time. You're so happy."

Standing and stretching before sitting back down—he was getting a little tense—Feli shook out his hands, loosening his fingers. "I just can't get the hang of these controls," Feli said, more gleeful than he probably should be at that revelation. Well, at least his stupid curl was perked up, back to normal and all. "Sorry about all the yelling." He looked back at the tv. "Although there's going to be more." He cocked his head at the other with a teasing, semi-apologetic smile. "Especially if this button keeps defying me," He said, voice raising in Mock outrage.

    [ i lied, i lied so bad//hugs don't stress yourself out ]

Ludwig ducked his head in embarrassment, gently nudging the other with his shoulder. Hopefully he wouldn't bring this up. If he did, Ludwig was sure he was going to probably cover up Feliciano's mouth with a piece of duck tape or something. Well- he wouldn't go to that extremes. Duck tape would hurt, he wouldn't want to do that. "It's not as much fun when you play by yourself. The computer isn't very hard to beat." The German sighed.

Watching the other pop up and slip back onto the couch, he chuckled at his explanation. Good that Ludwig didn't mind if Feliciano was going to yell at him. It helped that he lived above him, so he didn't have to worry about getting complaints besides the people below him and on the other sids. "You sure it's the buttons? It might be operator error." Ludwig teased, taking a hold of his own remote again.

[ aha I saw that but shh you tried // I AM ALMOST THERE FINALS IS NEXT WEEK BUT I WILL BE DEAD ]

Eyes sparkling, he turned quickly to Ludwig. "So, I'm better than the computer?" He raised his hand in a tentative high five. "Better company, at least?" At least he was unpredictable—wildly erratic, to be honest—while the computer was straightforward and repetitive. That had to count for something, right? And he desperately hoped he was good company.

Feliciano pouted at Ludwig's humorous jab. "Hey, it's a computer. They're supposed to be able to read minds by now." He winked, obviously joking, and ensuring the other man didn't think he was actually hurt—or that stupid. "Yeah, it's probably my fault, but hey! I'm trying." Noting that he still had a blanket and Ludwig didn't, he held out the fleece corner in offering. "D'you want some?" He asked, not wanting to be rude. He didn't mind—if everyone was happy, Feliciano was happy too.

[ sorry for the late/short reply I am hella drowning in homework ]

[ OH NO GOOD LUCK I HAVE MINE IN TWO WEEKS IDK ]

"Much better than a computer, and better company," Ludwig chuckled, running a hand through his hair. From his hand, the blond hair strayed a bit, a lock or two falling into his face but he didn't do anything to fix it. He would fix it once he had a mirror, or something.

"Yes, at least you're trying," Ludwig said with a soft smile. Shocked by the sudden offer, he blushed just a bit before nodding his head in acceptance. The blond scooted closer, draping the soft corner on his opposite shoulder. He nudged Feliciano's shoulder, looking down to make the other had his controller before starting up the game. "Ready to go?"

Nodding furiously, Feliciano again stuck his tongue out in concentration, as he was quite prone to do. "I'm going to get a goal this time." At least. With a small yell, he began mashing buttons, going for all or nothing. And, suddenly, finally, he did. Failing to register it, however, he kept pressing buttons rapidly.

"Wh-Wait, did I—meraviglioso—Lud, I did it!" He cheered, definitely not bragging, but just really happy—a full, bright smile on his face. Under the blanket, he threaded his arm around Ludwig's—trying to signal camaraderie rather than competition. He wasn't competing right now... rather, he was having a lot of fun with someone that he felt was a good friend, already. He hoped Lud wouldn't hold it against him.

Suddenly suspicion sneaking into his thoughts. "You didn't let me get that goal, right?" He squinted at Ludwig, studying his face carefully.

[ is it chill if Feli scores? Lud should definitely win, but I just want my bae to get one point ;3 ]

One thing was sure in Ludwig's mind, and that was if he ever had a laugh attack, it would probably be with Feliciano by his side. The combination between the other's almost war cry and the intense button smashing besides him, Ludwig had to furiously keep down a laugh which turned into a snort.

"I take it back, maybe it is the buttons," Ludwig chuckled as he felt the arm slip under his, glancing over to see a bright grin covering Feliciano's face. He was tempted to mess up the other's hair in congratulations, but he restrained himself. That wasn't like himself. He wasn't going to go to that extreme.

Though when Feliciano's eyes narrowed in a suspicious manner, a small laugh slipped out before the German put his hands up, still clutching the controller. "I would only let you get one in real football, since we all know I'll be the one winning." He joked through a stoic expression, though the tone of his words gave in to his joke.

"It's definitely the buttons," Feliciano agreed, quite happily—looking away before sheepishly adding, "I'm mostly sorry about the war cry." Luckily, it didn't seem like Ludwig was particularly bothered by it, so he let out a small breath of relief. The light competition was back sooner than he'd thought, though.

"Oh, we know that, do we?" Feliciano smirked, tone flippant but laced with a friendly challenge. "We're going to have to make that game sooner rather than later, I guess." Elbowing the German lightly in the side, he tried to reclaim his position in the game. Feliciano knew Ludwig would win the game, that goal was a lucky shot, and, honestly? He knew nothing about xboxes. He could tell the other man was strategic, edging around him, and Feli could only head off his plays some of the time. It was only a matter of time before he scored again. Feliciano definitely didn't mind, though! No matter the outcome, he was just having fun.

[ sorry for the late reply, i was actually playing it cause i forgot how to heh ]

"Absolutely positive," Ludwig laughed, before nodding his head in agreement and shooting him a sideways glance at feeling the elbow prod his side. Quite frankly, his brothers, were much better at video games than he was. Probably because they had nothing better to do, while he actually had a job unlike them. It was a matter of time and it did not take long for Ludwig to score another, though by this time it was on accident. He had been attempting to get one of the players to pass to another while near the goal but end up passing it into the net. With a small laugh, he glanced over at the Italian. "Sorry Feli, I didn't mean to do that." He would feel awful if Feliciano felt hurt by that, so he searched the other's face with nervousness.

[ I only have wii sports with me ;n; ]

Feliciano laughed loudly at that. "You didn't mean to?" He looked towards Lud, eyes gleaming with mirth. "Where were you trying to get the ball to, then?" He teased, still smiling. "How have you not absolutely massacred my team yet?" Shaking his head in wonder, he turned his attention back to the tv. He was incredibly surprised that the score wasn't 10-1 yet. Okay, well, Feliciano wasn't that bad. But he wasn't very good, either.

In the midst of playing, he noted, "You weren't as excited that time. You can celebrate, you know. Be proud of it!" Glancing at the German out of the corner of his eye, he added "I'm not going to break, or anything." Giggling, he recalled their conversation from the laundry room. "I'm strong, remember?" That reminded him, he supposed it would be getting done fairly soon. But, for the moment, he had to try to stop Lud from getting any more goals.
