At his comment, a laugh escaped Daniel's lips. "It's his destiny, man. What are we gonna name this guy?" He asked, placing two pebbles on the snowman's head for the eyes. Already, their snowman was turning out fantastic. He was rather proud of their creation. If the snowman didn't stay up for at least a week, the Spaniard would be rather upset. Hopefully, the snowman would survive for the rest of the winter before melting into a puddle, but he didn't want to witness the poor snowman's death.

One beautiful thing about music is its ability to transcend time and find its way into each and every season. People are always writing music, whether it's nice out or 20 below. As long as someone has something to say, there can be and will be a song about it. That's one thing Seth loved about music: it's flexibility. He could have found 20$ in the street or had a big argument with his father, and still have a song to fit every emotion inbetween. And with the cold weather keeping people indoors, it was a perfect time to bust out the musical instruments and just jam. Seth owned a small drum set, a bass guitar and an acoustic guitar. Guitar was more of his thing, but he needed the drums, too, to let out some steam in a creative way. Even away from his drumsticks he would be tapping his fingers on something, making a beat. Also, while listening to his favorite bands, he would "air guitar" if there wasn't a physical one handy. Some may call all this unnecessary hand movements weird, but it's just the passion of a real music junkie leaking through. More than anything, Seth wanted to be in a band. He even had some ideas on what to name it.

But now, Seth itched to play some music, but he wanted a different sound. He had owned his acoustic for about four years now, and it was Ol' Reliable, but emphasis on the "Ol'". He wanted an electric one, one that not just made sound, but WAS sound. Y'know? One that blazed out of an amp and changed the tone of the whole room. So he had been saving up cash, and made his way to the local music store.

Opening the door, Seth stepped into heaven. Rows of guitars surrounded him on the walls, in all shapes and colors. Seth walked up and down the aisles, looking over each one individually.
Then, he saw it.

There, in the far left corner, a Fender Stratocaster in red. It was so, so beautiful. Seth could almost imagine holding it and making it sing with his fingers. It was perfect. Seth stared for a few more moments, then dragged himself away to the counter. A girl was working this shift. Her name was Rylie, right? Seth had seen her a few times before, but never actually spoken to her. She was really hot. Usually Seth would do away with manners, but he felt that being curt in this situation would be rude. So he said, "Good afternoon, miss. How much for that red Fender over there?" He pointed to the guitar.

Rylie looked up from the magazine. She looked in the direction of his hand, which was pointing towards the nice Fender. Probably the best red guitar they've had in awhile. She tossed the magazine onto the counter and hopped off her stool. Rylie walked over to the red Fender, took it off its hook gently, and brought it back to the cash register. She placed it on the counter. "How much do you want it to be?" She questioned him.

i laughed and shrugged. "why not? before i met you i had absolutely nothing to do except annoy the crud outta my neighbor, ms. BeCarthy. i'll wait, for sure." i smiled and winked, going over to a tall chair at a table and sat there, looking around at the records on the wall. after a minute, i got bored and jumped out of my seat, but let juliet sit there. i looked around at the cd's the store had, looking for the one all time low album i didn't have; "Dirty Work". when i found the disk, i took it to the front desk and paid for it. "thanks." i said to the clerk. he nodded and said. "enjoy!" i nod. "oh, i will, don't worry!" i go walk by Glen and poke his back as i made my way back to the seat i was in before, and i hopped up, sitting myself on the seat, waiting for Glen.

i chuckled at him, and riley. the dog woofed and wanted to jump on him, but i bent down and picked him up off of toby, but set him back down on the pavement. "he likes people." i smiled and huffed a laugh. "but, uhh.. hey, i s-still need to get money and drop off riley. and, s-since we're going to the same place, w-would you want to come inside for a minute? understandable if you don't wanna, it's'all good." i offered a smile and waited his reply.

i sat on a bench and i didn't care if it was still snowing or not, i was just still thinking about that boy from a few minutes ago. i sighed, white smoke emerging from my mouth and disappearing instantly. i sat with a single earbud in and scrolled through my phone at my past texts to my ex. i miss him, but he was abusive. but you can never truly get over someone, can you? i took a deep, bitterly cold breath and locked my phone, sitting back and letting my head hit against the back of the bench. i closed my eyes, letting the cold take over my body, and i sat there, relaxed for the first time in weeks, and just calmed down.

Seth raised his eyebrows in mild surprise. Interesting question. Naturally, he would love to walk out the store with that six-stringed beauty without paying a dime, but that would be stealing. Additionally, it wouldn't be fair. Not as much to the store, as to the guitar itself. Something so fine deserved to be paid for, in full, not bartered for a fraction of its worth. It gleamed on the counter, as if agreeing with him. Daring him, almost, to name a price too low, to insult it. His acoustic and bass that he owned had been around the same range, but this was something new altogether. He wasn't entirely sure how to price it, so he found a way to step around the question. "As much as its worth," he answered simply.

"Or his fate. Either one should do, I suppose!" Daniel responded, putting pebbles down the front of the middle piece of the snowman. "Alright, his name will be.. Juan. Juan the snowman." He stated, trying to keep a straight face. He placed several pebbles on Juan the snowman's face, trying to make it look like a mouth. Next he placed two pebbles on either side of the snowman's face, claiming them to be dimples.

Graham gratefully accepted the cookie, giving a murmur of thank you. He bite into the warm cookie, a sigh escaping his nose. It was a good cookie, for a Walmart cookie.
