Jay looked at her for a moment before reluctantly placing Ash in Serae's arms.

"Thank you", Serae, while looking Jay's eyes. "So, who wants to come with?", she asks, and drops her gaze. Her eyes skim the dark angels, watching for a volunteer. Serae wraps her arms tightly around Ash, then her wings.

"Ill come," Jay volunteered. "Anyone else?"

Shade glared at the dark angels and fiddled with the lock, trying to unlock it.

"We don't need too many people, I only need someone to show me where it is. And careful of little miss sunshine down there, she looks like she's trying to escape happy time", she says, and unfolds her wings.

Ash's breathing slows dramatically

"Come, let's go Jay, she needs to rest!", she says, and goes through the window, holding on to Ash as tight as possible. For a moment she dives, then unfolds her wings in mid-flight and glides in the middle of the sky.

I looked at Shade.

Jay jumps out the window after her and extended his wings, soaring after her. This left Shade chained to the wall.

Shade looked at Sierra, unsure what to say. She was now on her kill list.

"Jay, where is your homebase?", she yells over the wind. "I need to know, for Ash!"
