Will smiled at her attempt to better his mood. "It's green, all shades really. But I like the forest, so I like green. What's yours?" He asked her, still smiling. It was really nice of her to try and cheer him up a little, and he appreciated that fact, though he wasn't sure if she had done it on purpose and so decided not to mention anything about it to her.

Cassaundra nodded at his response, "I don't really know. Somedays I like blue, but on other days I like purple," she shrugged. Taking off her sandals she stuck her feet into the cool water. It felt very nice, since she had been standing almost all day, "I like this place. I think I will come her from now on," she smiled.

Will grinned slightly mischievously. "What, come to the dock or come to the camp?" He asked her, attempting being silly again. "Blue and purple are good colors," he nodded his approval. "They're very pretty, but I don't like them as much as green. It's just such a comforting color. You could wrap yourself in a blanket of forest green and it'd be super nice. It just seems comforting somehow. But I guess whatever floats your boat." He said, grinning again.

Cassaundra couldn't place her finger on it, but there was someone between them, and she didn't know if she liked it or not. Looking over at him and shrugged, "Green is okay, I liked it when I was little, but I guess purple and blue "called" out to me," she giggled, "I mean as long as i'm at this camp, I will mostly be at this location, but once I leave this campsite, I'm never coming back, I don't think. I'm not a nature person, so this is something new for me," she told Will.

Will shrugged. "Like I said, whatever floats your boat." He then got a slightly sad expression in his eyes. "Oh, this is your only time at camp? I'm coming back next time, I guess I won't see you around, then. That's too bad, I was hoping I'd have a friend that I knew next year. Oh well. Maybe you'll learn to like nature. I love it, I could teach you what there is to love."

Cassaundra smiled at him, "If I like this place by the end, I will ask my mom if I can come back. I would love to see you again, after camp ends," Cassaundra told him, not making eye contact. Even though they had just met, Cassaundra didn't really know what to feel anymore towards Will, what was getting into her?

Will smiled back. "That's good, I like having friends. And I'd like to see you again too." Will realized he might be developing a crush. He wasn't sure what to do about that. He wasn't used to crushes, having only ever had one, and that had been as a child. But it would be nice to see Cassaundra again, she was really nice, and... oh, god, did he really have a crush? He'd have to tell Halt about it. There was service, right? He'd call Halt and ask him for advice later. But now he should talk with her more and figure out what was going on with him.

Cassaundra didn't know what to say, "yep," she said softly to him. Looking up at the sky, seeing it was turning a darker grey, "I think it's going to rain," she told him with a small frown. Like any other girl she hated to get her hair wet, and it would always get frizzy, which she hated the most, "Maybe we should go?" she asked him.

Will looked up at the sky, and noticed for the first time that it was full of dark clouds. He nodded to Cassaundra. "You're right, we should probably go. I'd hate to be stuck wet and cold on the first day, it's miserable." He stood up and began to walk back, motioning for Cassaundra to follow him. "Come on, we got to hurry. It looks like it could rain any minute."
