[wolf ;;]

Mani watched as the winged wolf flew off, into the sky, and she wondered what he could see, if there was anything to see - or was the boulevard suspended in oblivion? She sat down on the ground, have nothing better to do, and did as he told her - wait. She was not a patient one, and wanted to know what was going on, but she held it in.

Castor swooped down but didn't bother to make a big show of his landing. He turned to her. He indicated the sky, but he knew that the moon wasn't visible from here. He wanted to lead her into the trees behind the verandas, so he beckoned with one hand. He would've said something, but the previous sight had pretty much left him breathless and speechless; in a good way.

[wolf ;;]

Mani then saw the wolf coming back down to land, and she quickly got to her feet, wondering if he had seen anything of interest. He had indicated the sky, and she was confused - there was nothing, what was she suppose to be looking at? But as he beckoned, she went the way he wanted her too - it was obvious by now that he had seen something - but what was it? Couldn't he just tell her?

[hypnowave]

"This way," Castor whispered, his voice failing him. He led her between the trees and between two houses, where a small fence stood, lit up by the same faint golden lights that were hanging on the trees. He jumped the fence easily, and found more trees. He managed to find his way, but he kept close to Mani in the process.

[wolf ;;]

Mani glanced at the fence as it came into view, and scrambled over it swiftly, to where they were met with more trees. She flicked an ear and then walked along, following Castor, as he seemed to know a bit of the way. She wondered what was beyond these trees, what she had to see.

[hypnowave]

After a while, Castor came upon the lake, glinting in the moonlight. Its water was calm, though it had gentle tremors once in a while. He looked around, beginning to realize details he'd missed. He saw a boat tied to a dock, a couple small ponds and lilies to one side, and plenty of lanterns. It was beautiful.

[wolf ;;]

Mani squinted her eyes as the lake came into view, along with the moon. She glanced up, seeing the moon - her glow and wings did appear, like they would usually, but not bright - it was faint, weak, almost. She flicked an ear as she then looked at the lake], and her surroundings - it was a truly amazing sight.

[hypnowave]

For a moment longer Castor was robbed of his breath and voice, and he didn't say anything. But then he looked and her and asked her, "Can you fly?" in the same gentle, quiet voice he'd used earlier, barely louder than a whisper.

[ get on the boat you two //realizes that the ghost can end the dream whenever he wants to, imagine if he feels like being annoying and shuts off the night immediately cx ]

Mani looked over at him as he spoke, and she nodded. "I should be able to..." She said, and she let the wings guide her, although once she started to go too high they faltered. "I can, but barely." She said, which she wasn't surprised at - the brighter they glowed, the more powerful they were, and since they were barely glowing they would barely work.

Castor remained silent as she spoke, and then looked thoughtfully at the moon above. Maybe by the time it lowered, it would affect Mani, but the moon would only move if Mani chased it... it made no sense to him. Maybe they had to get in the middle of the lake?
