She landed on the bank of the river and scared away a herd of elk. She huffed in irritation at their fearful warning calls. She stepped into the running water and shivered from the cold. As she crouched down to let the water run over her infected wound she snatched a couple of fish from the water. She sighed as the cool water flowed over her burn. "That feels good." she muttered absently.
