the yelling incident happened a few years ago so I have grown in that I can control my anger better. usually, I tell them about bringing females up and not de-grade them to stereotypically 'womanly' positions. In other situations, I will get stern, roll my eyes ( ) and/or give them a dirty look.

for everyone here, i'm sorry i've been pretty quiet.
studies and all, y'know?
but i'm done with discrimination, which is why i'm here.
i was kicked off the basketball team because i'm a girl.
"girls don't play basketball" they said.

girls do play basketball and many can play it better than guys can.
i get it, i'm short and i wouldn't have made much of a shooter (my 5ft 3 kills me xD)
but it's not the point of height.
it's the point they made of girls don't play basketball...

I dislike having to talk to my brother about how calling people 'girly' isn't an insult, I always want to tell my male friends that they don't have to defend their masculinity but knowing the likelihood they'll take it the wrong way and listening to people assume and have prejudice against other genders without even realising it because they're so used to it just upsets me. Gender discrimination (and any other discrimination) needs to stop
